Chapter 23
The paper float again but this time it flew into the hands of Hunter.
"Hunter!?" I didn't notice his presence earlier so I got surprised to saw him standing few meters away from me.
"Time is getting near," He spoke strangely.
His brown eyes are glowing, and his pupils are narrowed vertically. It's the first time that I see Hunter like this. I didn't know that he can transform this way. The moonlight on his face is making him look mysterious.
"What time, Hunter?" I asked inquisitively.
"Go back to Ehtrehto Edis. The Ehtrehtians need you," He pleaded.
"Hunter, you knew I've gone through a lot there. My family was killed by the Aquans and they chased me! What am I? A fool that would go back to be slaughtered!?" I yelled furiously.
"You still don't understand things, Lady Amara," His voice was weak and weary.

The ninjas leaped forward and pointed their swords towards the three of us. Three ninjas were attacking each one of us. It wasn't easy to fight with them especially that our only weapons were our claws. I avoided every strike they're throwing at me. I was keenly observing their movements.
