Chapter 23

The night was still young. Felix and Mercedes, we're having the time of their lives. They excused themselves to take a walk together. Hand in hand they strolled further away from where the celebration was. Felix took off his suit and placed it over Mercedes's shoulders. Not that she was feeling cold because werewolves hardly ever get cold but it was a gentlemanly thing to do and he wanted to take care of her.

She thanked him and smiled. They continued to walk together in comfortable silence, taking in the cool night breeze. Both of them had plenty to say but neither knew how to say it. Felix was overwhelmed with joy. He was happy that he can now call Mercedes his Luna with pride. He is thankful that that night she was attacked by rogues she survived and landed up in his pack.

" Thank you for coming into my life." He held both of her delicate hands in his large ones. A smile appeared on his face and he reached for her cheek. His palm softy landed on her cheek. He stroked it tenderly.
