CHAPTER 22

I'm sitting in my room right now. I t's already 10 o’clock in the evening but I'm still awake. Even though I've been exhausted all day because Zienna and I went shopping, I don't seem to want to sleep right now. She didn't just purchased me a dress, she also bought shoes, bags, and jewelry that would match the dress she chose for me to wear to the event. Wayne, by the way, did not join me for dinner earlier, but he is now at home. Manang was the only one I ate with and she mentioned to me that Wayne was always like that,  that he was constantly busy, especially at night because of the cases he was working on.

I suddenly remembered my case with him, and I realized I hadn't asked him for an update on it in a long time. But now that I'm thinking about it, I'll just find a good time to ask him... maybe some other day.
