Author’s POV

Aslan's head was hurting. He tried to move but when he saw his hands, he growled. He looked around him. The place was drowned in darkness.

“Ian? Matt? Oh, fuck.” He called for his friends but it looked as if they had abandoned him.

Aslan struggled and the bed croaked as he pulled with all his might. He took deep breaths and pulled again. After some more struggle, the headboard gave up and his hand was freed with a large chunk of headboard along with it. His wrist was throbbing now. It was not easy to break a headborard, as it seemed. After he stopped panting, he took a few deep breaths, and he pulled his other hand as well and freed himself after a while. He turned on the bedside lamp and saw the room. It was a pretty one. He looked at himself. He was dressed in a pajama. He touched his face and found that he was shaved.
