Aslan’s POV

It had been three weeks and she was nowhere to be found.

Elle was angry. Ian and Matthew were trying to help him, but his stubbornness was slowly pushing them away from him. And he couldn’t complain. He had brought it upon himself. He was a jerk after all.

Was he going crazy? No, crazy couldn’t cover what he was feeling. He wanted to snatch out his eyes so he wouldn’t see her face when he closes them. He wanted to snatch out his heart so it wouldn’t beat. It belonged to her. Without her, it should stop, but maybe it was his punishment. Punishment of falling in love. He stumbled on the couch, and sat down.

His life was perfect with her. He would have given her anything, but if only she had trusted him. A tear dropped and he wiped it. What was the point of crying? She didn’t cry when she left him, then why should he?
