Grabbing my phone, I called Jake. “We have a problem; Violet has taken control of Marie. She has shifted and is making a beeline for the borders on the western side. Get your patrol to stop her at any cost!”
“William, she could overpower them on a good day. How the f*ck do you expect them to capture and subdue her wolf that’s gone crazy?”
“Just do it Jake. Don’t you think that I know she’s not thinking straight, she’s going to get herself killed at this rate” I roared.
Hanging up the phone I chucked it on the bedside table before jumping out of the window and letting Maximus shift. He was quick, quicker than any other wolf that existed. Jake was right about one thing regardless of Violets state of mind, his patrol team would need all the help they could get.
