When Nick told me that Angel was back, Hunter howled in my head with excitement. I said goodbye to Alpha Rick, he went to see his Luna as she was due to go into labour any moment and I went to mine. As I reached our room Angel’s scent hit me like a ton of bricks and nothing but naughty thoughts filled my head. As I entered the room, I noticed the baby asleep in her cot and mind linked Rita to come and get her, something she didn’t mind in the slightest; she had always loved babies and was always cooing over them whenever a she-wolf had one.
After surprising Angel in the bath and giving her the best shortest sex of my life, I wanted nothing more than to take her again and again until we both passed out from exhaustion. Something that Angel also seemed to want as she kept trying it on with me. But alas we had more pressing matters to attend to, not only did we have an upcoming battle, but I also needed to sit and talk to Angel

Angels POV I got to sleep so easily last night that I would have thought I was as going to stay that way until my alarm sounded. How wrong was I. I couldn’t sleep for the life of me I was too anxious about what today was going to bring. I didn’t have cold feet I was worried something would go wrong. Looking at the clock I still had an hour before my alarm was due to ring, so I turned it off and ran myself a bubble bath. Ariel was still fast asleep in the next room, so I was ever so quiet as I moved around the lounge avoiding every squeaky floorboard I could remember. Jakes POV It wasn’t unknown knowledge that when a woman had a baby, they felt forgotten like their only role now was to be a mum like that’s all they were meant to be. I didn’t want that to be Angel. I wanted her to keep her identity to feel like she was still the same sexy woman I fell in love with because she was so much more than ‘just a mum’ and she deserved to know it. Every chance I had I would do something to show her just that. When Angel told me she was going to take the flowers to the chapel I planned the picnic.
