He sat on a chair beside her bed as he held her hand and intertwined them. He was feeling guilty for being the cause of her pain. He was scared just with the thought of what ifs... "I will call the doctor. Please rest." Saying that he left. The doctor soon arrived with Stefen. He examined her and confirmed that she was healing well and could go back home within a week.
