Selene

Leaving the elderly couple behind, we crossed back over to the giant tree.

Alaric dropped to one knee, brushing his fingers against the fresh drag mark in the mud. He brought his hand to his nose, taking a long, sharp breath.

“Two scents,” Alaric muttered, his jaw clenching. “Elias’s sour blood… and the rank, bitter smell of a rogue.”

My white wolf growled low in my chest, eager for the hunt. “They can’t have gone far. Elias can’t walk because I broke his legs.”

“Then let’s catch them.”

  • The Luna Is Not Dead   An Alpha and Luna Love

AlaricThe afternoon heat radiated off the green lawn as high-pitched squeals echoed across the courtyard.I stood on the wide stone patio of the pack house, leaning against the wooden railing with a mug of dark coffee in my hand. Three years ago, I couldn't have imagined this kind of peace. The shadows of the White Moon massacre, the blood on our hands, and the constant threat of war had finally faded into history, leaving behind something soft, bright, and endlessly lively.“You can’t catch me, Alpha!” Victor’s voice boomed across the yard.At thirteen years old, Victor was growing fast. He was tall, sharp-eyed, and filled with a fierce, quiet devotion to our family. He was currently sprinting through the flower beds, a wooden toy sword raised high, purposely slowing his pace just enough for his little brother to keep up.Right on his heels was our two-year-old son, Leo. His dark, unruly curls bounced with every chaotic step, his face completely smeared with berry juice as he let ou

  • The Luna Is Not Dead   A beautiful news

SeleneThree years passed like a sweet, quiet breeze.Moonstone was thriving, Victor was growing into a strong, happy young boy who practically ran the pack house, and life was more peaceful than I had ever dared to dream. One sunny afternoon, I drove out to the quiet countryside at the edge of our territory to visit Martha and Thomas. They were the elderly couple who had taken me in and nursed me back to health when I was at my lowest. Alaric was busy handling pack affairs back home, but I loved coming by in person to sit on their porch, catch up, and make sure they had everything they needed. We sat at their small wooden kitchen table, drinking warm tea and laughing while Martha served homemade berry pie.As I reached for a slice, Martha paused, squinting her sharp eyes at me. A slow, knowing smile spread across her wrinkled face.“Well, look at that,” Martha hummed, setting the teapot down. “Are you pregnant, child?”I froze mid-reach, blinking at her in total shock. “Pregnant? No,

  • The Luna Is Not Dead   Mating Ritual

AlaricThe sunlight streamed through the tall floor-to-ceiling windows of the dining room, bathing the table in a warm, golden glow. Victor was sitting between us, happily swinging his legs while eating a plate of chocolate pancakes, his small face covered in syrup. For the first time in months, my mind felt entirely at peace. That peace was broken by a soft knock at the grand double doors. One of my senior guards stepped inside, bowing his head respectfully. “Alpha, pardon the interruption. Madison is at the main entrance. She’s asking to speak with you and Luna Selene.”I felt Selene stiffen beside me instantly. Her fork clinked against her plate, a small frown tugging at the corners of her lips as her eyes narrowed.I reached across the table, lacing my fingers through hers and giving her hand a gentle, reassuring squeeze. I rubbed my thumb over her knuckles, holding her gaze until the tension in her shoulders began to ease.“Let her in,” I told the guard softly.A few moments late

  • The Luna Is Not Dead   Going Home

SeleneAlaric’s phone rang early in the morning. It was Marc from the Elders’ Council. He explained that word had leaked out across the territory that I was alive, and hundreds of frantic, emotional pack members were surging toward the Council House demanding to see me with their own eyes. They had also helped of the evil things their former Alpha had done. Marc asked if I would come speak to them one last time to give them peace of mind before we left for Moonstone. We got dressed and drove straight over.Alaric brought the car to a stop near the council house steps, and my breath caught in my throat at the sight before us. Hundreds of pack members had flooded the open cobblestone square. Men, women, and children pressed against the stone barricades, their eyes wide with shock, relief, and desperate hope as Alaric and I stepped out of the car.“It really is her!” a woman in the front row cried, tears streaming freely down her face as she clutched her daughter. “Goddess bless, she’s a

SeleneI turned back to the elders, my hand resting warm and safe inside Alaric’s.“I appreciate your trust,” I said, my voice steady as I looked Marc in the eye. “But my place is with him. I want to be with Alaric forever.”Alaric’s grip tightened on my fingers, a soft, beautiful smile breaking across his sharp features. The lead elder let out a heavy, solemn sigh, bowing his head in understanding. “We respect your choice, Selene. White Moon will handle the temporary leadership through the council until a proper successor is appointed.”The meeting concluded with a heavy weight settling over the hall. When news of the verdict broke outside, furious roars echoed from the pack streets— the people were disgusted, utterly outraged that the man they thought was their Alpha was nothing more than a bloodthirsty monster. They watched in murderous silence as the guards dragged Elias’s limp, crying frame down to the darkest cell in the dungeons to await his execution. Before we left the place,

  • The Luna Is Not Dead   What a decision!

AlaricThe room was very tense. Then the elders continued shouting angrily, and their voices echoed off the high ceiling.I looked down at Elias, who was trembling violently in my grip, his face buried in the stone floor as he whimpered for mercy. Then I glanced at Selene, her soft white veil concealing her face beside me.I stepped forward, my voice cutting through the chaotic uproar with the thunderous weight of an Alpha.“Silence!”The hall dropped dead silent. The elders froze on the dais, their shocked eyes snapping straight to me."This isn't just a small crime?!” I growled, shoving Elias’s limp shoulder with my boot so he rolled onto his back, sobbing pathetically in front of the whole council. “This spineless monster let the darkness completely consume him! He didn't just kill staff and guards out of strategy. He let pure, unhinged rage take over and butchered every servant, every innocent Omega, his accomplice Max, his own sister Liora, and even his own mother! He wiped out h
