Sofia’s POV

I stood outside my house, unsure of what to do next.

“What should I do?” I muttered to myself, not expecting an answer.

Alya’s voice rang in my head. “Just do what your heart feels like.”

I rolled my eyes. “My heart feels like leaving the whole pack. After all, this isn’t my pack.”

Alya sighed, soft and sympathetic, but firm. “Are you really going to leave our mate behind? He’s too cute for that.”

I chuckled. “Trying to guilt-trip me now?”

“You can’t hide forever. If you fight, I fight too.”

Her words made me laugh out loud, and the sound echoed through the quiet morning. Some elders passing by gave me curious smiles, and I couldn’t help but smile back.

That’s when Nightshade walked up.

“Good morning,” he said, his eyes warm, the corners crinkling as he smiled.

“Good morning,” I replied, a strange calm settling over me just from his presence.

Alya whispered again. “We can’t let them push us around. We have to stand for what’s ours.”

I nodded slightly. She was right—but a p

Sofia’s POVThe sky was already bright; morning had come. I stepped outside, curious to know what was going on, and I found Evelyn and Nightshade seated together. Their expressions were serious, and I could tell they were discussing something important. The moment I approached them, they both turned to look at me.“You looked really stressed yesterday,” Evelyn said gently. “That’s why I didn’t wake you up.”I smiled faintly and lowered myself onto the bench beside them. My body still felt heavy with worry. “I’m fine. I was only thinking about the pack members, nothing more,” I answered, though deep inside I knew the burden weighed more than I wanted to admit. “Have you spoken to Rose? What did she say?”Nightshade’s brows rose in surprise, as though he hadn’t heard about the plan to bring Rose into things. His face tightened with concern.“Sorry… what plan are you talking about?” he asked. Before I could respond, one of the pack members hurried over to us. He bent low and whispered so

Luca’s POVThe closeness between Grandma and Gorgeous was what bothered me the most. They talked like they had known each other for a long time, and it was surprising. I couldn’t wait for Luna to come back; I was just tired of everything.“Hey Lucas,” Gorgeous said, smiling like a wish. I didn’t understand why she felt so comfortable here, and I wished I could send her out of the house immediately.“How was your night?” she asked again. I nodded and forced a smile. “Fine,” I replied, already wanting to leave. But then she said something that made me stop in my tracks. “I miss you,” she said.I turned back, shocked, as if I had just heard a story about my late grandma waking up from the dead. I tried to calm myself down because I was already boiling with anger.“Please, just forget what happened between us,” I said, trying to control myself. “See it as a mistake, nothing more.”But Gorgeous only smiled and moved closer to me. I stepped back, but she followed me like a stalker. I didn’t

Sofia’s POVThe forest looked beautiful, especially since we were alone. The world is always a beautiful place when you are with someone you love. But it can also be hard when you are no longer with that person or maybe when life happened. As we walked deeper into the forest, I turned to Evelyn and asked, “Do you remember this place?” She nodded, and a smile spread across her face. Her smile was like that of a princess who had just received food after a long day. She looked even more beautiful, even though she was already grown now.“What are you thinking about?” she asked, and her words brought me back to reality. “It is quiet in here,” I said. “I think this is the right place to talk. I mean, to tell you little things I have heard about myself.”I breathed out, fresh air filling my lungs, and I felt a sense of relief. Evelyn looked into my eyes, concern written clearly on her face. “Are you alright?” she asked again.Maybe she understood what I was going through now. I was just tire

Luca’s POVI couldn’t believe what had just happened. How did I even end up in this situation? I asked myself as I stared at Gorgeous standing beside me. My whole strength seemed to fail me, leaving me lost. I didn’t know what to do.I stood up from the bed, wanting to step outside, when her voice stopped me.“Good morning, Lucas,” Gorgeous greeted.I froze instantly, stiff like a fish caught out of water. Slowly, I turned back, and she was smiling at me. My chest tightened. I wished the ground would open up and swallow me whole, but the ground seemed so far away. Breathing suddenly became difficult.“Hey… good morning,” I managed to say, pretending nothing had happened. I almost liked the way she acted as though nothing had happened too. “You can come outside if you’re done,” I added. She smiled again, but this time, her smile carried something suspicious. “Don’t worry, I won’t tell Luna about what happened… or though it happened anyway,” she said, her voice loud. The words hit me li
