Surprise Visit

Georgina Sinclair's POV:

I was in the living room when the guards outside told me that someone was here to see us.

It was Alpha Ken.

I was not expecting his visit today. Marius had promised to be back in an hour or so after leaving early that morning to take care of some pack-related issues. But still, Alpha Ken's visits were never without reason. But I believe I already knew why he had come here.

Alpha Ken politely bow his head when he saw me.

"Luna Georgina." he said in his deep voice.

"Alpha Ken." I greeted back and smiling while I gestured for him to sit.

Lydia quickly excused herself to get our refreshments. There was silence between us for a moment. I studied him quietly. There was a weary expression on his face, despite the pride and self-control of an Alpha.

"You are here to discuss things about Danica, right?" I finally asked.

He looked up at me then showed me a grim smile.

"That's right, Luna."
