Georgina Sinclair's POV:

Dinner that night felt oddly quiet.

Too quiet.

The others were tactful and pretended not to know about the silence between their Alpha and Luna. But I felt their eyes dart in our direction. But none of us spoke much.

He was hiding something.

I sensed it.

It was more than just his attempts to keep me from worrying about anything or the way he had been extra sweet to me these past few days. It was the faint stiffness in his voice and the hesitancy in his smile when I asked about the pack's situation.

I knew Marius well enough by now when he was calm and when he was pretending to be.

So I stayed quiet while pretending to focus on th

The morning of the party came quietly but Georgina's heart refused to be calm. She was standing near the entrance while holding her bag. Marius was beside her and already dressed in his formal black suit. The warriors were diligently patrolling around the mansion. Georgina had personally given each one of them instructions before leaving."Stay sharp." Georgina told them. "No one enters or leaves without permission.""Yes, Luna!" they all replied in one firm voice."Don't worry, Luna. We will watch the twins carefully." Lydia said."I know." Georgina replied with a smile. Her voice trailed off.Marius placed a hand on her shoulder. "They will be safe." he quietly said. "You made sure of that."Georgina took a deep breath and nodded. "Yes. Let's go."It only took them an hour to reach the venue. But this place seemed off.Marius noticed it first. He frowned while looking around. Everything was so quiet. Georgina also noticed it too.The front yard which was normally filled with ar

Ryan Lancester's POV:I sat alone in my office. But my mind was elsewhere. Soon, the door quietly opened. Then Vince stepped in. "Alpha." he greeted before bowing his head.I looked up. "...You're back.""Yes, Alpha." he said. "Did you send them my message?"He nodded. "Yes, Alpha. I told them everything you wanted me to say.""And?" I finally asked. "What happened next?""Luna Georgina didn't say much. She just listened in silence while Alpha Marius was still angry at us.""...And the twins?" I asked after a moment. "Did you see them?"Vince shook his head. "No, Alpha. They didn't bring them out. I think they are protecting them closely after what happened.""I see." I murmured. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath."That's good. They should protect them."Vince stared at me for a moment. He was not sure what to feel about me. Maybe pity. Or confusion.I didn't want either."Prepare that again." I suddenly said. His head lifted. "You mean the vial?""Yes." I said. "I will

  • The Luna's Redemption   Delivered Message

Georgina Sinclair's POV:After their breakfast, I brought my sons in the living room. Mica had already spread the thick blanket on the floor and put their toys on it. The moment I put them down, Liran and Soren started crawling and playing with each other. Their tiny hands were touching everything within reach.I sat nearby with my eyes following their every move. Every time they giggled, my chest softened. Every time they stumbled or wobbled, my hands automatically reached out. "Luna..." Lydia called. "Do you want me to take good care of the twins while you eat your breakfast?"But I gently shook my head."I'll eat later. Just stay close in case they need something."She hesitated and clearly wanting to insist. But soon, she nodded her head. Everyone knew by now there was no use trying to convince me otherwise. After what happened, I couldn't help it. I still couldn't removed the fear in my heart. But now that the twins were back, I would never leave them off my sight. The twins pro

But I slowly calmed down when I turned my head. There they were.Marius and the twins.Liran and Soren were both lying between us. Marius was sleeping on the other side. He was still wearing the same shirt from last night. His face looked calm but tired that dark circles sat beneath his eyes.I slowly sat up and feel my heart filling with warmth. I reached out to touch Soren's small hand and careful not to wake him. His fingers twitched a little and that tiny movement brought tears to my eyes. They were real. They were here.My babies were home again.A shaky breath left my lips. Then I smiled weakly. I brushed away the hair falling on my face and leaned closer to them. Marius didn't stir. The strong and fearless Alpha who led our pack now looked so peaceful beside our sons. Marius was frowning as if he was still doing his duty even in his dreams. My heart ti

Georgina Sinclair's POV:My knees almost gave up after Ryan left with Beta Vince. But Marius quickly moved and pulled me his arms while being careful not to crush our sons."Marius..." I whispered. "They're here. Our babies..."Marius leaned back just enough to look at the small bundles in my arms. His eyes softened and glistening with relief as he saw the tiny faces of our sons. Liran was fussing softly while Soren's eyes fluttered open before closing again.Marius gently brushed a trembling finger over their cheeks."They're really here..." he murmured. "They're safe..."Marius slowly looked at me. I could see his pain, love and relief all at once. He cupped the side of my face and wiping away my tears with his thumb. "You did so well, Georgina." he whispered. "You kept your promise."That made me cry even more. I remembered the message I sent him earlier. It was a short message but it held all my trust in him.'Ryan contacted me. I'll meet him. Please trust me.'And he did."...I
