Soren

I needed to get out of this place. Trying to get rid of these cuffs was the only way forward.

I wasn't restrained like the other day. There were no lights here, so I don't know how long I have been here. But that didn't matter. Today was the day I got out of here. I needed to go back to my pack and find my mate.

I was on a chair, with my hands tied around it. There was a bag over my head.

The only thing my wolf could do at this moment was to help me with strength because he couldn't untie me from the ropes.

I was positive about two to three guards guarding the iron doors.

I didn't know what waited for me outside, but I needed to deal with this first.

I started working with my hands against each other in a quiet motion.

The ropes had to become loose for me to be able to get my hands out of them.

I must have tried this for close to ten minutes, but it was like nothing was working. But I didn't stop.

My hands kept rubbing against each other.

It took me some time before I start

Soren.I have been checking up on Darson, Ked and other pack members to make sure that they were receiving treatment just fine. Darson had a broken arm, well not completely broken which meant that it would take him sometime for him to be able to use that arm again. Ked had an injury around his head. I was so glad that he was able to recognize and speak normally just like before. Given the injury on his head, not everyone would be able to recognize people or speak normally again. They still had some time at the hospital before they would be discharged. I stepped out of the balcony and looked down at the pack house. Most of the trash had been put away and everything seemed to be normal again, except the people I have lost and the things I would never be able to recover again. The Goddess protects who was under this because they would have something else coming for them if I ever find out who did this.'The hall is almost full, Alpha.''I will be right there.' I replied Willa's mind-l

Soren.Nearly half of the pack was in shambles. It was been three days and we still had so much to put in place. However, I had put it on hold today because of what would be happening later; putting my mother to rest. She was in the hospital morgue the moment I returned. My father had been on the hospital bed and wasn't able to walk properly. We were about to lay his wife to rest and he insisted on coming along even though I told him he couldn’t, given his condition. Presently he was in his wheelchair in line behind me as we waited for the hospital to bring my mother out for use to take her to the cemetery. Most of the time, the hospital was the one to burn the corpse and give you the ashes, but this was my mother. I couldn't let any other person do that. My father didn't agree with that either. We had to do just like we did my brother. My heart became heavy in my chest the moment I thought about my brother. He did nothing wrong and was taken from us. Mother did nothing wrong an

  • The Luna's Walk of Shame   Taken away

AstridMy hands and feet hurt, but I knew that I had to leave this place, no matter how bad they hurt. I couldn't let them hold me here. I needed to find Soren. He needed to be okay.Did he know who was behind the attack?"Are you trying to run away from us huh?"I felt a hard tuck on my hair. My scalp burned like my hair was being pulled off its roots."Do you know what we went through just to get you here? We should have taken just you. But we had no other choice other than to attack."I was being dragged on the grass by my hair. It was a female voice, a voice that sounded somehow familiar, but I needed to see who it was and asked them why they had to bring me here. What did they want from me? Even if I owed them, they should have come just for me rather involving everyone into this kind of fuck up thing.Did they know how many people they have killed and wounded just because of this? But of course, people like this didn't mind getting rid of an entire tribe just to get what they

  • The Luna's Walk of Shame   No Mind-link

SorenThe heavy pounding in my head reminded me that I wasn't in the right state of mind. My wolf struggling to emerge was another reminder that I was nowhere close to home.I tried to pry my eyes open to survey my surroundings. My eyelids felt heavy, but I managed to open them, staring at a large pool of dirty brown water. There were what looked like aquatic animals in the water. To my right was an iron-fitted door, and that was it—a blank room with no windows, just that small door. When I tried to move, I realized I was restrained. My hands were cuffed to the wall, as were my legs. Each time I pulled, the iron burned into my flesh; it was undoubtedly silver cuffs."Everyone here will be dead if I get out of this place. Whoever is holding me here had better think twice."My shoulders slumped when I heard no response. What happened yesterday? My pack was invaded. My parents were brutally killed in front of me.Astrid. She was my mate. I didn't get the chance to understand any of it be

AstridOne thing about betrayal is that you never see it coming and guess what? It always comes from the people you least expected. She shot me in the leg. She shot me with silver. It was still a mystery to me how I had gotten healed. The movement inside of me woke me up. Edna tried to wake up, her eyes searching the area. There was a dull pain in my head, making it difficult for me to sit up straight. But I tried. I struggled to sit up. I dragged my body off the wet floor.I didn't know if I was still passed out or it was night time because when I looked around, it was completely dark. No form of light was inside where I was.Where had they taken me?My body crawled up like a hundred ants were walking on my body.Soren. My mate. Where was he?He had been my mate all this time and I didn't know? Why couldn't I feel it?Did he know and was hiding it from me?I ran a hand down my hair trying to make sense of the entire thing, but nothing was adding up.I leaned back, my back pressed ag
