Chapter 64

WARD

Tingles are spreading throughout my body and the feeling is incredible. I have never felt anything like this before in my whole life. But the sound of arguing is ruining the euphoria of the mate bond.

Opening my eyes slowly I look around the room. Keena is lying beside me. Her body is pressed up against my own and she has a very concerned look on her face. Looking in the direction of her stare I can see why she looks so concerned. It would appear that my mother and the Queen are having a standoff in my doorway.

I shake my head and groan loudly. It catches everyone's attention. Keena looks down at me with a bright smile on her face. "Oh thank the Goddess," she squeals as she wraps her arms around my neck.

Tingles and sparks spread through our bodies as we hug and I smile. Keena chose me without even knowing that she could choose her second chance mate. Finally, Keena lets go of me and I sit up in the bed and look at my parents with an annoyed look on my face.
