Elara's pov

I was settling in throughout, and I was happy that I had a place to stay. Occasionally, I always had nightmares, but Kaela was always there to support me.

“Are you going to tell me what the hell happened? You haven't said anything, and your nightmare seems to be connected to something. What's going on?"

I pursed my lips. I didn't know how to tell her, but I didn't know what else to say.

“You know you can always talk to me right?" She asked with raised brows, and I nodded. Of course I knew I could trust her, but then it was already too complicated.

“You know you can trust me. Please tell me exactly what I need I know, please…” she held my hands, and stared into my eyes.

I sighed. “When I escaped from Lucius, and Lilith, I was taken with him. I was treated with love, and I felt that I had reached the stage where I was supposed to give it my all. He was my mate and all…”

I stopped, and exhaled. “But something felt off."

She squinted her eyes, wanting to know more. It s

Elara's pov“She's too nice? She's supposed to be nice. She's like the pack doctor. Besides, she's interested in me, and it's a good thing. Maybe she wants to help me out." “You trust too easily, and you're not being observant well enough. Maybe I have to open your eyes for you to see what exactly I see." “You're just worried, but I assure you, she's not like that. Honestly, I kind of trust her than Kaela.” “That's the problem. She's seeing too nice, and she's always available. Don't you think that's an issue?" She asked with concern, her voice hitting each of the point, but then I didn't know what else to say. I had tried my best to convince her, but if she wasn't convinced, then I guess I have to let her be. "Do you think you'll be fine?" I paused. “What do you mean by that?” I was first angered by the question, but then I slowly understood what she meant. “Yes of course as long as I find out what's going on with Kaela, and learn more about myself, and my babies, then I'll be f

  • The Lycan's Marked   Chapter 59

Elara's Pov Once breakfast was over, I sat there, still pondering over everything when she Davina rubbed my shoulders. Seeing her instantly made me feel bad as I felt I had wasted her time only to be shocked by another story. “I’m so sorry about what happened. I didn't mean to alarm you, I just thought she was in danger. I swear I wasn't lying about what I saw. I just don't know why she didn't tell me this.”She exhaled. “I don't know what to say, but I think you should rest for a bit, and then you can come for us to talk about it.” I nodded with a smile, and then she hugged my arm for a while before before heading towards Kaela.“Take care of her, okay? She needs you now more than ever.” Kaela nodded, but didn't show any other emotions. As soon as their conversation ended Davina flashed me another smile, trying her best to comfort me again before she left the house. I didn't know what else to say. I was tensed, and tried my best to make sense of whatever she wanted to say. She s

Elara's Pov I ran as fast as my legs could carry me, and the only time I stopped was when I dashed my leg against a stone. Lucky for me, I had enough stamina to help me out. I didn't know what had happened to her because she didn't tell me the details, but whatever it was, I knew it was definitely not good. My hair danced around in the wind as I took another lap, not worrying about the kids in my tummy.“You have to be careful so you wouldn't harm the kids in your tummy, do you understand? I know it's a lot to actually take in, but you need to actually make sure that–”" I can't stop running…" I responded, my breaths coming out in pants. I had been running for a very long time, and I only stopped when my throat was totally dry. There was literally no saliva to help me. Still, I didn't give up. Kaela was stabbed with a silver dagger, and I didn't know how much time she had left. It didn't take long before I got there, but I was getting so tired so quickly. It wasn't as I was expect

Elara's Pov His words seemed pretty serious, and the way he stared at me with confidence made me aware that there was definitely something up. “And if I refuse?" I asked with raised brows, wanting to know what I stood to lose if I refused whatever he was saying. I was fired of always being approached by him. I mean, there were so many women out there who would want a man like him. “Look… Peter, I don't know how else to say it to you, I just can't accept this offer. You have to understand that it wouldn't make sense to be saying an already pregnant woman. I wish there was a more mature way to explain this to you without crushing your little heart.”"I know that too, and that's why I am trying my best to be able to fix things up. I will worry about that when you have accepted the offer.”I shook my head. " I don't think I want to accept this offer. Besides, there are many reasons why I shouldn't accept this offer in the first place.” "You really should. I promise I won't exceed one

  • The Lycan's Marked   Chapter 56

Elara's Pov Something about her pushed her to me. I needed her closer to me, and I wanted to learn more about myself, but I felt going close to her to ask her such questions now was wrong. “Why do you feel it's wrong?" My wolf asked, and I sat on the bed, my mind roaming around reasons. I was sure there were many reasons why all these couldn't happen now.“Well I swear I have a good reason, but I doubt she'll see it that way especially with the fact that she's a very nice person.”"You don't want to make it seem like you're only being friends with her because you need favours from her right?" My wolf finally constructed the statement right, and I sighed. “If I go to her, snd start asking her questions about myself, it's going to be all weird, and I might end up missing her extended arm of friendship." My wolf immediately turned quiet, and waited for me to come up with a solution which would actually come in handy."So are you going to visit her?” question kept coming, causing me t
