Alaric's POV

“What do you mean you didn't find her, huh?!!" I asked, my chest racing then I grabbed the child warrior, my eyes staring deeply into his.

"I know that you are joking, but this is no time for a joke, this is the fifth time this week you are saying you haven't found her!” I let him go, but not so easy because he staggered backwards, lowering his head immediately.

He dared not complain, especially after everything they had happened.

"We're doing our best alpha, some guards are still in the forest as we speak. We are going to find her.”

"Better!” I yelled, waving my hands to dismiss him. At that moment I heard someone calling for me, causing me to turn back. I was so worried, not knowing what else to do. My chest drummed like crazy, and I tried to be calm before she approached.
