Nymeria ground the powder and applied it on Jasper’s leg while handing me another vial. “He should wake up now, he has been asleep for a long time”

I worried at my lower lip, “Does he not need more rest?”

She shook her head and replied, “It will only delay the time but not improve the healing. We have to find the ink and we have to make him drink the potion I prepared after that. Hopefully, it works and he will never have to rely on the inking again.”

I nodded my head, “Alright”

We both stood on opposite sides and gently nudged me, trying to wake him up. Jasper stirred after a while and slowly opened his eyes.

Relief flooded through me when I saw his face. Interestingly, his eyes looked a pale shade of grey instead of silver.

Confused, I looked at Nymeria who could only shrug. His eyes had always been a bright shade of silver with golden flecks in them and the first time I had somehow hurt his eyes, they had bled a little.

I let that matter rest and for now, decided to focus on
