“How about right now?”

Jasper enquired, a challenge in his eyes as he looked at me with a raised eyebrow. I had not expected him to be so eager but more than that I had not expected myself to be eager either.

“What are you going to make me do this time? Are you going to stab me for a change? Or are you going to make me run through the palace for my life as you hunt me down like a vampire who just got a taste of my blood?”

If Jasper’s eyebrow could have gone any higher, he would have definitely done it. I could see his eyes rolling so far back that they must hit on the inside of his skull.

“I had something different in mind….but given your suggestions, now I wonder if your ideas would make it more interesting”

Jasper said with a playful smile on his lips. My eyes went wide as I thought of running through the passageways while he stalked me like a predator.

Or held a knife to my heart and stabbed me until I bled.

Part 2- I was intrigued at the beginning and kept reading expecting some answers to questions posed but nothing happens but arguments between the ML/FL. I think you had a good idea but wasn’t able to develop it.

Hi, I regret saying this but I can’t continue to read this book. It is too repetitive and I have spent so much for these chapters without any real development. Still not sure why Jasper acts the way he does, the intimacy between the ML/FL made no difference in the story it just went back to enemies.
