Carson POV

I was pissed that Marly was so obedient as to bow to Jenna. I knew this was a problem, and I had no idea how to fix it. Marly would need to be stronger, if she were to take over as Luna. But Jenna would fight all the way to retain the title. It was no secret that the Elders wanted me to take Jenna as my mate.

Now that Marly was here, I could not see myself with anybody else but her. It was fucked up. How did I end up mated with an Omega? Anything else would be easy to defend, but an Omega was going to be a challenge. But I loved a challenge, I thought with a smirk.

“Marly is not going anywhere,” I found myself saying. I felt like everything was getting away from me. I wanted the chance to see what could happen between Marly and me. I also did not want to hurt her. I knew she had her own doubts in who she was. It made me want her more. Made me want to show her what I saw, when I looked at her.
