As I knocked on the study before entering it, I kept thinking about Toby.

Did Jason offer him money to do so? Was I really dating a man so shallow that he would do anything to get on someone’s good side if that man could benefit him.

"Georgina, what the hell was that?" he demanded, his voice a low growl that sent shivers down my spine. He was wearing all black today and somehow that made him look more scary.
