Alexander was beyond agitated that night, sitting in his bedroom alone he was unable to sleep at all. He contemplated whether or not he should take one or two of his sleeping pills he always had in his drawer for emergency cases, but at the same time he knew fooling his body that way would not bring him peace. He kept on tossing his body around like a fool, unable to even close his eyes without imagining the worst thing happening to her. Even throughout the day he felt unsettled, like a heavy burden was placed upon his chest and he was forced to carry it without reason.
