It was another Saturday morning and I was awakened by the piercing rays of sunlight coming through the window. I shuffled a little and turned my head. The handsome Greek god next to me was still asleep. Xavier was gone by the time I woke and I yawned and stretched. It had been the most trying week living with Jennifer. Xavier and I had gotten over the fight we had and had moved on counting that as a little misunderstanding. The make-up ended with popcorn, soda, a good movie, cuddling and apologies. Xavier pampered me a lot and I enjoyed it but I didn't get a swollen head. I brushed my teeth and fixed my hair. I went downstairs lazily with a book to read in my hand.
