Darryn's POV

When I saw Kaycie in that green dress, I was blown away. She looked absolutely fucking gorgeous. I held my hand out, hoping she would take it, and she did. Oh, for fuck sake, I feel like some kid in high school with how I act. I opened the car door for her, and she slid in. I walked around and got into the passenger seat. I drove towards the restaurant. I pulled up to the restaurant, and we got out. I handed the keys to the valet and linked our hands together, and we walked towards the door to the restaurant. I was surprised when Kaycie pulled on my hand and stopped walking.

“Darryn, this place is too expensive.” She says to me

I smiled at her as I leaned in and gave her a kiss. I can tell she was not expecting that. I know that brain of hers is telling her she is not worth being here. I know she believes she is not worth spending money on, but she is my queen, and I will spend any amount to make her happy.

“It’s fine Tesoro, my uncle owns this restaurant,” I tell her.
