Kaycie's POV

I am so nervous. I am over at Davina’s place because she is helping me get ready for my date with Darryn tonight. He is picking me up in thirty minutes. Davina, Sammy, and I went shopping earlier for a dress for me to wear tonight. I found a beautiful iridescent emerald green summer dress that stops just above my knees. I paired it with a pair of silver wedges. I have left my hair down, and it's naturally wavy. I still can’t understand why Darryn would want to be seen with me. I am standing there looking at myself in the mirror. I just want to cover myself and hide.

“Kaycie you look gorgeous and Darryn is going to lose his mind when he sees you,” Davina says.

“Thank you, it’s hard to think that Darryn would want to be seen with someone like me,” I admit quietly.

“Oh Kaycie, you are a gorgeous woman and have a killer body. If I was into girls I would go for you.” Sammy chirps.
