“You have been quiet since we left the hotel. What’s on your mind?” He asked. She was looking somewhat sad and he noticed it, but he didn’t want to mention it until they were alone at the car.

“Nothing, it’s just, the way the woman was looking at me earlier. It’s like she was saying that I didn’t belong in there. As if I’m an embarrassment.” She admitted.

Unlike some people who might hide their feelings about it, she preferred to communicate it instead.

“Oh, so that’s why you’ve been looking down. Don’t worry too much about it. You only need to care about what I think and I spent one million pounds on you. You’re worth it, don’t let anyone convince you otherwise.” He told her as he held her hand.
