Daisy:

My fingers scramble for purchase as the car speeds along the highway, swerving around other vehicles.

"What the hell is going on?" I scream at him.

He ignores me keeping his eyes firmly on the road. His jaw is clenched and he has a tight grip on the wheel.

"We're being followed," Kaiden grits out. He is obviously annoyed at this, his eyes flick to the rear view mirror.

"Shit," I say. My voice barely audible as fear grips my chest.

Kaiden accelerates, weaving through cars and I notice a black SUV mirroring our movement.

It doesn't try to get closer, it maintains its speed. I watch it from the side mirror, confused.

It keeps a calculated distance, never getting too close but never losing sight of us either.

"What do they want?" I ask desperately.

Kaiden's eyes narrow in suspicious as he tracks the car's movement, "That's what I'm trying to find out."
