She pushed away from him and stood up from the bed quickly, her legs trembling the second they touched the floor. The weakness in her body betrayed her, and she nearly collapsed.

Before she could fall, Vincenzo caught her.

Her small, fragile frame fit easily into his arms. Without saying a word, he lifted her gently and carried her to the bathroom.

She didn’t resist.

He stepped inside, placed her down carefully into the bathtub, and turned on the warm water. Steam began to rise, surrounding her in soft mist.

“I’ll wait outside,” he said, his voice calm but commanding. “Don’t lock the door.”

Then he left the room without another word, closing the door but leaving it slightly open as instructed.

The warm water soothed her aching muscles. For the first time in days, her body began to relax. But the cold still crept through her skin, and she couldn’t stop shivering. After a few minutes, her lips began to tremble again.

She called out weakly, “I... I don’t have anything to wear.”

Her voice cracked from the cold. The bathwater wasn't enough. Her body was too thin, too fragile to hold in the warmth.

Vincenzo’s voice came from just outside the door. “Come out with the robe,” he said, and she could almost hear the smirk behind the words.

She didn’t reply.

The silence lasted a beat too long.

He understood what it meant.

“I’ll get you something from your room,” he said, his tone softening a little. “Just wait there.”

Her heart calmed slightly. For once, his voice didn’t carry its usual edge. She wrapped the bathrobe around herself and stepped out slowly, still shaking.

A few minutes later, Vincenzo returned with a white t-shirt and a pair of jeans. She stepped forward quietly, reaching to take them, but he pulled them out of her reach.

“Finish your food first,” he said simply, his smile light but serious. “Only then will I let you get dressed.”

She blinked at him, trying to read his face, but there was no teasing in his eyes. He meant it.

She sighed softly and sat down, her hands trembling slightly as she picked up the spoon. Every bite felt like a chore, but she forced it down, knowing he wouldn’t budge.

When she finished, he handed her the clothes. No words were exchanged.

She turned away and dressed slowly. Her movements were unsteady, her body still weak, but she managed. When she finally came out, her steps were uneven, and her head felt light.

Vincenzo stepped toward her and caught her again just as she stumbled.

“What’s happening to me?” she whispered, her fingers weakly gripping his arm. She touched her temple, her eyes filled with confusion. “Why do I feel like this?”

He looked into her eyes and answered calmly, “I don’t trust you. So, I mixed something into your food.”

Her mouth parted slightly in shock.

“You’ll be fine by evening,” he added, brushing a strand of her damp hair out of her face with a touch too soft for his words. “You have a lot of surprises waiting.”

His voice dropped to a husky whisper as his fingers grazed her cheek. His breath brushed against her skin and just like that, her eyes rolled back, and she fainted, collapsing into his arms.

He held her quietly for a second, then carefully carried her back to the bed and laid her down. He tucked the quilt around her, then walked over and locked the door with precision.

He stood there for a moment, watching her sleep.

Then he left.

Outside, Emma was pacing.

The second she saw him, her face twisted in frustration. “What the hell are you doing with her, Vincenzo?” Emma yelled in frustration.

Without hesitation, Vincenzo slapped her hard across the face.

“Sir…” she muttered, clutching her cheek, anger flashing in her eyes. Then she quickly masked it with a forced apology. “Sorry, sir.”

Her hand slid up to his neck, her fingers soft against his skin. “You need to release it, you need someone who knows how to handle you… someone who’s always been loyal.”

Vincenzo didn’t move. His face didn’t shift.

But her hand was now on his jaw.

Her body pressed gently against his, her lips close to his ear. “She betrayed you, lied to your face, and now you’re holding her like some priceless gem?” she whispered. “She doesn’t deserve it.”

She smiled and trailed her fingers down his chest again. “I’ve always been here. Always by your side.”

Her other hand moved lower, dangerously close to his belt. “You can use me however you want…. Right here…… Right now. Kill her, Vincenzo… I mean, Vincenzo sir,” she said, feigning concern while casting him a seductive look.

He turned his head toward her slowly, his expression cold and unreadable.

“Kill her?” he repeated, his voice low and calm.

Emma smiled, leaning in, her voice sweet and false. “You don’t need her anymore. She played you. She made a fool of you. If you ask me, she doesn’t deserve a second chance.”

He watched her for a moment, her face, her words, the poison in her smile.

Then a cruel smirk crept across his lips.

“No,” he said. “She shouldn’t die that easily.”

Emma’s smile faltered.

Vincenzo’s eyes darkened, and his grin widened slightly, laced with something dangerous. “Death is too simple for her. I want her to feel every second of what she’s done. Slowly.”

Emma’s fake concern faded into a cold and calculating smile. She nodded slowly, but she couldn’t hide the flicker of jealousy in her eyes.

She hated how he spoke about Seraphina….not like a man discarding someone, but like one obsessed. And that scared her more than anything.

The Morning AfterThe next morning, Vincenzo woke up with a pounding headache. He found himself lying on the cold balcony floor. He blinked against the sunlight, sat up slowly, and rubbed his temples. For a second, he didn’t understand how he got there. Then it all came rushing back; the touching, the drinking, the way she looked at him last night without fear. Seraphina had gotten under his skin.“Damn you, Seraphina,” he muttered under his breath. He pulled himself to his feet and staggered inside, reaching for the cabinet where he kept hangover pills. He freshened up quickly and walked back into his bedroom. And there she was. Lying on the bed peacefully as if nothing in the world could disturb her. Her cheek pressed gently into the pillow, her hair messy but soft, her lips slightly parted like a baby in a cradle.Vincenzo paused in the doorway. She looked like she belonged there, in his bed.He approached slowly, each step filled with confusion he didn’t want to admit. He sat at t

  • The Mafia King Obsession   Get Back At Him!

"I want to gift you something to have you; I don’t like taking for free," Vincenzo said with a slow, wicked smile as he stepped closer, a drink in hand. "So ask for something. Anything. A room full of gold? Millions of dollars? The most expensive car or a mansion by the sea? Just name it, and it’s yours."“I don’t want anything. Just leave me in peace," Seraphina mumbled, pulling her knees to her chest."Peace?" he chuckled, his voice like dark silk. "You married the devil, sweetheart. There's no peace now. Only fire."Vincenzo moved toward the mini-bar with a cold smirk and poured himself another drink. The sound of the liquid hitting the glass echoed ominously. He took a slow sip, and then turned toward her, his gaze like a storm. He stalked back to her, towering. "I will take what I want… and I’ll gift you what you never dared to desire," he whispered against her lips before pressing a kiss there, slow and dominating. She turned her face, trembling. But his mouth moved down her nec

"Get that Liam here," Vincenzo ordered coldly. His guards responded instantly. Within a minute, Liam was dragged in by force, struggling, confused, until he saw her.Seraphina stood in the center of the grand hall, draped in her wedding dress, her face void of life, her eyes swollen from hours of crying. Liam’s heart shattered.Vincenzo stepped forward, the sharp click of his shoes echoing on the marble floor. He gave a small, crooked smile, his dark eyes filled with amusement and cruelty. "Liam, look at me. Look closely. I married your sister. She’s mine now. Ha! Ha!! My wife."He tilted his head mockingly, his gaze sweeping over Seraphina. "Yes… such a good wife, isn’t she?"Liam froze. His throat tightened. Then, he collapsed to his knees, chest heaving, tears spilling. He clenched his fists. "I’m sorry, Seraphina. I’m… I’m so sorry. I failed you. I’m the bad brother. I ruined your life. I couldn’t protect you from him. I couldn’t stop this."Seraphina didn’t respond. She only lowe

The next morning brought an apparent calm, but inside Seraphina's mind a storm never ceased. She tried to organize her thoughts while walking through the hallways of the immense mansion, but Vincenzo's words echoed incessantly. Every gesture of his, every calculated glance, made her even more enraged and at the same time unsettled.'Jarvis, I'm so sorry... I tried to be strong, but he's breaking me piece by piece. I never imagined it would end like this. Not like this.'In the main hall, Mathew awaited her with a stern expression."Miss Seraphina," he began bluntly, "the boss wants to see you immediately."She arched an eyebrow, crossing her arms. "Isn't it too late for more meetings?"He insisted. "Call it an order."Seraphina huffed, but had no choice.Upon arriving at Vincenzo's private office, he was waiting for her, seated behind the desk, his eyes burning with a dangerous intensity."Sit," he ordered with a low and firm voice. She hesitated but obeyed."Your hatred is remarkable

  • The Mafia King Obsession   Sharp Mouth!

She got dressed in a simple shirt she found in the closet, and went down to the rooftop garden. The place was surprisingly serene. Murmuring fountains, well-kept flowers, and birds flying free in a setting that seemed to belong to another world so opposite to the hell she was living in.She dragged the chair back slowly and sat, her eyes scanning the garden. She hated how peaceful it looked. Everything here was too controlled, too clean, like someone forced it to stay perfect while she crumbled inside. It made her sick.Emily appeared shortly after, bringing breakfast.“Did you sleep well?” she asked, placing the tray down.Seraphina raised an eyebrow. “Aside from being trapped in a golden castle with a lunatic murderer, I slept like an angel.”Emily let out a muffled laugh. “You talk too much. That could get you killed in here.”Seraphina turned to her. “Then maybe that’s the best thing that could happen to me. Maybe getting killed is better than breathing in this fake air and preten

The afternoon arrived heavy with clouds, as if the sky sensed what was coming.Seraphina stood silently in the center of her room, staring at the red dress placed carefully on her bed. The fabric shimmered in the dim light; soft, expensive and dangerous..... beside it was a folded note in bold handwriting: ‘He wants to see you tonight.’She hadn’t moved for a long time. She had refused, even threw the dress across the room earlier that morning. But hunger and silence had gnawed at her pride. No food, no escape, no response to her screams. Her stomach was empty, her body weak. And the guards outside that door were no joke. She showered, brushed her hair into a loose bun, and applied light makeup. No matter what trap tonight was, she would not meet it looking defeated. If she had to stare down the devil, she’d do it with her chin up.When the door finally opened, two guards were waiting. No eye contact. No words. Just a silent command. They led her into a private elevator that opened di
