Caspian POV

“It's really nothing much, asked of you then left.” I lie instead not wanting to ruin his already sour mood further feeling bad for stressing him out more after a definitely busy day. He squints his eyes at me like he could tell that I wasn't saying the truth but just nods, giving me a tight smile.

“I don't mean to react this way, I just want you to know something, to Selene, whatever she said to you is irrelevant, and I'll see to it that she stays out of your hair.” With this, he walks off leaving me with my thoughts. Okay?
