15. STOP

Bojana looked for whatever organization the wheel tattoo belonged to for more than two weeks but got nothing. She came into the house that evening completely exhausted and frustrated because her abilities were being subjected to a hide and seek game and her reputation was on the line. The silence from Rocco was because he trusted her to show up soon with the information he needed.

She met Irena munching on snacks in the sitting room but just walked straight to have a cup of water in silence since she had no business with her. Their paths rarely crossed, since Irena was always in her room and Bojana had little or no time on her hand to be around the house.

“Welcome back. It’s been a while since I saw you though”, Irena blurted out, trying to spark a conversation, but just got ignored by Bojana

“When someone is talking, isn’t giving a response the next thing to do?” Irena mumbled under breath before getting closer, giving her the benefit of the doubt that she probably didn’t hear her.
