BELLA
“There’s an event tonight and you’re coming with me,” I stated in an authoritative manner. “And why would I do that?” She shot me a glare. “You’re holding me here against my wish so why on earth would I go anywhere with you?” She clapped back at me angrily. “Because I said so.” I hissed, she opened her mouth to say something again and I just knew she was about to counter me so I grabbed her arm and pulled her closer to me. She tried to shake me off but I held her still by grabbing her chin roughly, “Don’t get me wrong, that wasn’t a request and for your own safety, when I say something, you fucking do it without making a single sound.” I had lost a drug shipment for a client and was not in the right frame of mind at that time plus I hated how she always fought back, she was supposed to be submissive. For a man like me that was used to people being afraid of me, she was definitely different. “So what am I to you? Some kind of puppet or what?” She countered. I scoffed in disbelief. She wasn’t scared of me and it was quite evident from her attitude even after I’ve shown her a little of my bad side. I am Vincent Castello and upon hearing my name, hundreds would shake in tremor but not her. “Yes.” I stated firmly and sternly. “You are mine to control Bella and that’s because I bought you. Do you understand?” I shook her wildly and even though there was this defiant spark in her eyes, she heaved heavily and nodded. I shoved her towards the two maids in the room, “Get her dressed.” I ordered before I walked out. The maids dressed her up just as I had instructed, in a black dress and when my eyes rested on her at the top of the stairs, her beauty captivated me. Her hair was styled in waves and the black dress clung to every single curve on her body, the color made her skin look even more beautiful and the net like material revealed just the right amount of cleavage that made me swallow real hard in order to keep myself in order. My cock twitched as I watched her come down the stairs and by the time her scent filled my nostrils when she got close enough, I stretched out my hand to take her hand but she simply walked right past me. She headed straight for the car and didn’t even stop to acknowledge the fact that I had been waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs. I had assumed she would be happy to finally step out of the house. “The whole point of asking you to come with me is for you to be my date.” I said as I got into the car, taking my seat next to her and she glanced away angrily but even a frown was not enough to dim her beautiful facial features. “And what makes you think that I want to be your date?” She replied gruffly. “For someone so fragile and tiny, you tend to go beyond your limits, don’t you?” I clicked my tongue. I’ve never seen anyone as tiny and stubborn as she was. “You should be careful though, it can always get you into trouble and I know just the right way to deal with people like you Bella,” I warned. I could have sworn I heard her hiss as she turned to stare out the window. In all my years, no one had ever hissed at me until that moment. The ride was silent and when we pulled up in front of the club, private security escorted us through the back door and we rode the elevator down to our secret meeting place underneath the building. The noisy and bustling club kept our affairs a secret so it was the perfect hideout. It was a private event for members of our cartel and I knew no one expected me at such a gathering because I rarely attended them so to see me show up with a woman by my side made every neck in the room turn in our direction. With a smile, I wrapped my hand around her waist and pulled her closer to me but she immediately tried to step away from my touch. I held her firm and leaned closer to whisper to her as we took our seats, “You had better be on your best behavior because I’ll not hesitate to set you right, right here in front of everyone.” I threatened. She sat down grudgingly but she didn’t try to move away from me anymore. We had barely been seated for up to ten minutes before Bella mumbled something about needing to use the restroom. She stood up sharply but I immediately reached out and pulled her back down. “Where the fuck do you think you’re going?” I snapped at her. “To the restroom, I told you, I need to use the restroom or would you also deny me the right to ease myself? Why don’t you just chain me to you so the whole world can know you own me.” She hissed and I smirked. “That idea is tempting but that would have to be some other time.” I winked at her and she frowned. That response was intended to get on her nerves and I loved the fact that it did. I couldn’t let her out of my sight so I signaled one of my bodyguards, “Escort her to the bathroom and bring her back safely to my side. Am I clear?” I instructed and he nodded. “Yes sir.” The moment I released my grip on her waist, she jumped up as if she just couldn’t wait to get away from me and hurried out with the bodyguard. I watched her leave, my eyes fixed on how her hips swayed from side to side in such a sensual manner. Other than the fact that the woman was just outrightly annoying, she was indeed beautiful. The event started soon enough and there was going to be a private auction later on that I looked forward to but for the meantime, I just wanted to… “Sir,” someone whispered into my ear and I turned around sharply to find the bodyguard that had escorted Bella behind me. If he was here then where was she? I thought to myself as my brows furrowed. “She escaped. I can’t find her.” The bodyguard added and I jumped up. “What did you just say?” “I am sorry sir but I lost her. She was right there in the bathroom and then the next minute she was…” “Find her right now!” I yelled, still managing to keep my voice down so as not to draw the attention of the others. She was really something! How did she even manage to slip past the bodyguard? She had no idea what she was doing. The underground meeting room was like a maze and it was almost impossible to exit it without using the elevator and to do that, she would need an access card. It was dangerous for her to roam around a place like this with the type of men around at that moment. I suddenly stopped and dipped my hand into my pocket for the elevator access card that she had seen me use when we arrived and wasn’t surprised to see that it was gone. I had really underestimated Bella and it irked me. “Catch that red haired little brat, right now! She must not leave this building.” I yelled angrily at the guards behind me and they scurried off. I headed towards the elevator but couldn’t find her. Just as I was about to turn around, I heard a familiar voice and my posture stiffened in reaction to it as I clenched my jaw. I didn’t have to move closer to know who it was. I would have loved to walk away in the opposite direction and totally ignore him but then, my eyes rested on her. She was standing right next to him and my eyes dropped down to his hand wrapped around hers in a firm grip. My eyes darkened as my fists clenched tightly by my side. “Get your hands off her, right now.” I growled and he glanced up just in time to lock eyes with me. He knew better than to touch what was mine so the bastard definitely had a death wish.BELLA“Are you ready for me?” Vincent growled, his voice dark and rough against my skin.A needy moan ripped from my throat. “Fuck… yes. I need you,” I gasped, my body trembling with desperation. “Please… just put it in.”I surged forward, crashing my lips onto his, pouring every ounce of hunger and aching need into the kiss. Our mouths moved in perfect chaos, wild and desperate as if we were trying to consume each other. Lust, longing, everything I’d buried came pouring out. Then, oh god, he slid into me.I gasped, eyes fluttering shut as I felt every thick inch of him stretch and fill me. Tears welled in my eyes. It was overwhelming, full and warm, and perfect. He pulled back, slowly, teasing, and I cried out, arching into him.“Vincent, please…”He smirked against my mouth, like a devil in disguise, and thrust back in fucking me with deep, slow strokes.“Fuck, baby,” he groaned, pressing his forehead to mine. “You feel so fucking good.”My fingers clawed at his back as he moved ins
BELLA“How about a shower? Or should I prepare a warm bath for you?” Vincent asked and I gave him a small smile.“A shower is fine.” I replied and he gently placed his hands on my shoulder and pulled me up.“Okay, Princess,” he said with a crooked grin, “let’s get you bathed and ready for bed.”My heart skipped a beat at the way he said Princess. It always did.“You want to join me?” I asked, trying to keep my voice casual. He nodded, eyes soft but playful.“Let me take care of you,” he murmured, running his hands slowly down my back. A shiver chased his fingers as he found the zipper of my dress and tugged it down.“Let’s get you clean. You stink,” he added with a teasing smirk.I let out a loud, dramatic gasp and smacked his chest. “You did not just say that.”“Oh, but I did,” he chuckled, grabbing my hand before I could hit him again. He finished undressing me, and I looked down shyly as we both walked into the bathroom naked. He set the shower to the right temperature and beckoned
VINCENT“What the fuck did I just hear?” Bianchi’s voice cracked through the room like a whip. “Why are you doing this? I thought we talked about it. We agreed, you were going to keep your distance. And now what? You’re taking her to school?”His eyes blazed with anger, his hands clenched at his sides like he was fighting the urge to punch something.“Why are you so worked up about it?” I shot back, trying to stay calm, though my jaw tightened. “It’s normal for us to get close again, Bianchi. She’s carrying my child.”He stared at me like I’d grown another head. “We don’t even know if it’s yours!” he snapped. “And need I remind you that she nearly got you killed? She is not good for you. You need to stay away from her.”I let out a long sigh, running a hand through my hair in frustration. “I know you don’t like her, man. But she’s changed. Anyone who’s been held captive, manipulated, and lied to would react the same way she did. She was scared and misled. But she knows better now. She
VINCENTFor the first time in a long time, my mind was at peace. I walked out of Bella’s room with a calm I hadn’t known I’d missed, ready to end the night on that rare, peaceful note. But the universe had other plans. Just as I reached for the doorknob to my room, a voice cut through the quiet like a whip.“There you are,” Fabiola said. She stepped out from the shadows of the hallway like she’d been waiting. Her arms crossed tightly over her chest, irritation flashing hot in her eyes.“Where have you been? I’ve been calling you all day! You didn’t pick up once. What happened? Where were you?” Her tone was sharp and demanding, like I owed her an explanation.I stared at her blankly, unwilling to feed the fire. “I’m tired, Fabiola. I just want to sleep. If you’ll excuse me…”I tried to walk past her, but she moved faster, stepping directly in my path and blocking the doorway with her body. Her perfume was too strong, her presence suffocating.“What do you mean you just want to sleep? I
BELLAVincent held out his hand, and I placed mine in his. His grip was warm, steady, grounding in a way I didn’t expect. He helped me down from the car with the kind of care that made my chest ache.I managed a soft smile as he handed the keys to the valet, and then we walked into the restaurant. Luxurious didn’t begin to describe it. Crystal chandeliers, soft golden lighting, and the kind of elegance that made you lower your voice instinctively. I felt like I didn’t belong, like I was walking through someone else’s dream. But Vincent, he didn’t seem to notice, or maybe he didn’t care. He pulled out a chair for me in a quiet, secluded corner. Away from the noise, the stares, the judgment.“Thank you,” I said, surprised at how breathless I sounded. He gave a small nod, lips tugging into the barest hint of a smile as he sat across from me. The waiter approached moments later and took our orders, speaking to Vincent like he was someone important. Someone respected.I waited until the wa
BELLA “It’s not what you think. I would never abandon you for some petty revenge. I had an emergency at work, and I didn’t think it was going to take long. I’m sorry I didn’t send someone earlier. I thought I’d be able to finish everything quickly and come get you myself. I also got stuck in traffic on my way here. I’m sorry,” Vincent pleaded as he walked closer and gently cupped my cheeks. A shiver ran down my spine at his touch, but I refused to acknowledge it. “You’re not sorry. And get your filthy hands off me! Don’t touch me with your dirty hands,” I snapped, smacking his hands away from my face. “Don’t touch me with the same dirty hands you used to touch another woman,” I spat, anger flaring in my chest. “What do you mean?” Vincent asked, confusion lacing his voice. “Oh, please. Don’t pretend. I know what you’ve been doing, sleeping with Fabiola, trying to hurt me. I know everything,” I said bitterly. “I know I fucked up. I was wrong, and I’m sorry, but you can’t blame me
BELLAI stepped out of the house, expecting the usual quiet ride to school. But there he was, Vincent leaning casually against the car door like he hadn’t turned my life upside down just days ago.I stopped short, refusing to meet his gaze. I stood there, arms folded, silently willing him to move. I wasn’t going to ask. If he wanted to play games this early in the morning, he was on his own.“I’ll be picking you up after school,” he said out of nowhere. My brows knit together. “What?”“Don’t even think about coming home on your own,” he added, his voice low and firm. “I’ll be there. Wait for me.”“I’m fine with the driver,” I said flatly, still not looking at him.“Well, the driver won’t be coming today,” he replied with a shrug. “And don’t get any bright ideas about calling a cab either.”My patience thinned. “Why are you doing this? You’ve made it very clear you can’t stand being around me, so why force it? Just send the damn driver and let’s avoid unnecessary drama. I don’t want to
BELLAI was drenched in sweat, breath ragged from the morning run with Amira. She’d peeled off to her room the second we stepped into the mansion, leaving me to climb the stairs alone, body aching, mind blank. But as I reached for my door, the one across the hall swung open. I looked up and froze.Fabiola stepped out, draped in barely-there silk, her hair tangled like she’d wrestled sleep all night or someone else. She spent the night in his room.My heart dropped. My hand fell from the doorknob. She noticed me instantly. Her lips curved into a smirk as she slinked toward me, every step deliberate, cruel.“What a night,” she purred with a fake yawn, her voice thick with mockery. “I feel so tired.”I clenched my fists. My jaw, too.“Oh, Bella, I didn’t even see you there,” she added sweetly, standing way too close, her scent heavy in the air. She stretched, arms above her head, letting out a sigh like she was reliving it all.“I feel like I took a ride on a horse… if you get what I mea
VINCENTI stumbled through the house, barely able to walk straight. Each step up the stairs felt like a mountain climb. The whole place was drowned in darkness, and my eyes stung with exhaustion as I dragged my body to my room.I pushed the door open, squinting as soft light from the table lamp met my face. I froze. I don’t remember turning it on. So why the hell was it glowing now? That’s when I saw her, the silhouette sitting on my bed, calm and unmoving.I let out a breath, more annoyed than surprised.“Bella.”My voice cracked through the silence. “What are you doing here? I thought I told you to stay out. Weren’t you the one who asked me to leave your room earlier? So what the fuck are you doing in my bed?”She didn’t respond. Just stood up slowly, stepping down from the bed and walking toward me.I took a shaky breath and ran a hand over my face. “What are you doing here?” I repeated, louder this time. “God, you’re making this so much harder than it needs to be. I’m already losi
