I heard a footsteps slow and deliberate down the hall, the kind of measured pace he always used when he wanted to intimidate rather than just walk. The first light of morning was already peaking through the windows by the time he reached the east wing.

I was too exhausted to do more than lift my head, it was 6:30am.

I watched him move through the rooms, running a finger along surfaces, checking corners, searching for any excuse to prove I'd failed. He found nothing. I hope it was truly nothing.

Smackkk…My head snapped to the side. My cheek burned, and for a second, I couldn’t hear anything but ringing.Tonia stood in front of me with her hand still raised, her eyes bright with fury and anger.“You,” she shouted. “What were you doing in that room?.. looking at me all over as she continued, with your lips swollen and your hair looking like that,?. She said as she looked at me up and down with disgust.Did you think nobody would notice? how you eye the boss? And did you think you could walk out of the boss’s private room looking like that and have nobody notice anything?”What was she doing here I thought? It was a private area , unless she had been monitoring me like an evil spirit.Well nobody saw apart from you, always wanting to be in my business with your fake lips and weird ass.“But my stomach dropped. She saw me!I touched my cheek, still stunned, and reached for the notepad in my apron pocket instead of my phone, because it would raise another suspicion of me with one

  • The Mafia’s Mute obsession   Chap 18: kissed hard and slapped.

“Strip for me“He turned me suddenly to face him, my body went stiff and hot and I couldn't move.My cheeks were burning bright red as I stared at him, speechless and dumbfounded. Not knowing how to react with what he just said.Lazarus' eyes darkened with desires that I could see his seriousness but there was also a flash ofamusement, he liked and enjoyed my trembling and scared state, how it made me feel small and almost peeing on myself. He was so close that I could feel the hot heat coming out of his body.He lifted his hands slowly unto my neck, his fingers tracing lightly toward my cleavage. caressing it in a slow gentle way.My breathe caught, my eyes blinking fast with the intensity of his touch, not knowing what to do or say, just looking.”Do you like that? He whispered, a sinister and devilish smirk appeared on his lips”I gulped hard to his questions, staring at him intensely, I wasn’t sure if I wanted him or was just too scared to move because I was as solid as a statue

  • The Mafia’s Mute obsession   Chap 17: His naughty Art room

DeliaMy eyes landed on some sketched drawings of naked women all over the room. Some showed their chest area and private parts, some with piercings of their twin peaks while others were chained up. A few had their tongues sticking out, posing like dogs.some with cat-like poses of licking the back of their hands in a meow position. I was so surprised and caught off guard by how arranged they were on the wall neatly, with the initials of their names labeled on them.Fully sketched by pencil or some sort of marker, with his name Lazarus at the bottom of it.His handwriting was so neat, I’d expected it to be sloppy but it was well written and straight. Was he some king of an nude artist, I thought to myself.‘What a pervert’, A naughty weird one at that But the drawings are really detailed and sharp, “what was he thinking while he drew naked women”, I kept asking myself in my head, I was curious to know. I could tell the ladies wanted themself to be drawn by how relaxed they were, but

He found nothing. I hope it was truly nothing.I'd made sure of that, even if it had cost me everything I had left.He found me outside the last room, resting against the wall, my eyes barely staying open, my hands tired and red on my lap like a lost exhausted puppy. He stood over me for a long while, with his eyes studying my body from head to toe, saying nothing just looking.I tried forcing myself up, scrambling to my feet too fast, before I caught myself against the wall."Sit," he said calmlyI blinked at him, confused, bracing myself

DELIAIt was already late at night when I heard a knock at my door. I opened it, dressed for bed in a cotton tank top and silk shorts with my hair wrapped in a bonnet. I hadn't expected a visitor at this hour and I definitely hadn't expected him.my eyes widen in surprise, my whole body going tense at the sight of him standing there.Lazarus stared at me for a long moment, something unreadable behind his eyes. Then, without a word, he pulled me into a hug.I was caught off guard by the sudden hug, my whole body frozen against him before I even had time to react, his hands pressed my body so tightly and cuddly, hugging me with so much strength that I felt suffocated. When he finally pulled back, I caught the faint scent of alcohol clinging to him. He felt soft in a way I had never noticed before, nothing like the composed cruel psycho mafia I usually saw.His demeanor even in his drunken state was so hot, his lips were looking so plump juicy and kissable, I felt draw to kiss him but I

LazarusLazarus stopped at the doorway and stared at the man for a moment. One of Vittorio's eyes was swollen shut, and covered with dried blood. Good. His men had done their jobsPathetic. Two months ago, this same man had sat across from him, smiling, refilling his glass, swearing on his family’s lives. And Lazarus had taken him seriously. That was what burned. Not the money. Not the estate. He had taken the wrong man seriously but it wasn’t new, debtors who don’t pay on time mostly pay with their life or worse. He walked in slowly. His shoes were the only sound in the room. Vittorio’s head came up at the first step, and his breathing turned ragged.Lazarus didn’t speak. He pulled a chair over, turned it backward, and sat, with his arms resting on the top rail. He looked at Vittorio for a long time.“You’re shaking,” he said at last. His voice was soft and almost kind. “Are you cold?”Vittorio gulped. “Don Lazarus, please..”“I asked you a question.”“N-Noo sir.“Good.” Lazarus reac
