The first day I saw him it felt like the skies looked bluer, a warm spring breeze blew bringing a pre-monsoon smell of earth.

He'd come into our home along with my step brother's group of friends. I was familiar with Erik's friends and Rocco wasn't one of them.

"Lea, you know that bottle I hid in the basement last night? Go bring it up to my room and get five glasses along with it." Erik had ordered me.
