THALIA ISABELLE

I was frozen when I saw him standing beside my car.

What the hell is he doing here?

"What are you doing here?" I asked him and he is just simply standing there devoid of any emotion on his face.

He is still wearing his corporate attire.

"I came back when I found out what you did, Thalia," he said sending a shiver to my spinal cord.

I cleared my throat to lower the tension building up in my system.

"I just did what I have to do," I defended myself.

He took a deep breath because of what he heard from me.

"I get it that you did it but the point is, your safety is at stake," he calmly said and that terrifies me more. Giovanni is scarier if he's calm amidst the conflicts.

"Thalia, I am damn worried about you, that's why I flew back here," he said, and I just nodded to end the conversation.

I am too tired to talk about it. I am not escaping, I am just emotionally drained. But I am not guilty of what I did.
