Chapter Twenty Three: Betrayal!

"It's okay stop crying, if you keep crying it won't be good for your health and it will affect the baby" Kylian said stretching forth his arms and guiding my head to his shoulder then he sat me down on the sofa.

"Thank you for believing in me. I have only loved you, I promise I haven't looked at any other man" I managed to say despite my excess hiccuping

"Your throat must be parched, do you need a glass of water?" he asked

"Yeah please can you get it for me"

"No problem just sit right here and don't move okay I'll get a glass of water for you" he scurried to the kitchen while I sat down on the sofa fidgeting my fingers. My happiness knew no bounds when he spoke to me lovingly, at least I am convinced he loves me and he will choose me over Charmaine. Few minutes later he walked over to me and handed over the glass of water while smiling at me.

"Thank you but the water doesn't look clean. You know I'm pregnant and I can't just drink anything, it may be harmful for my baby"
