Alana's POV
"He is a psychopath! I mean who does that, don't leave me wrong it was sexy but odd! You should've been there."
I say debriefing to Aurora as we walk into the club."He wants you, who drops that much money on a less than 5 minute lap dance."
She replies."I'll probably never see him, a shame."
As we're about to enter the dressing room, our manager calls my name and so I walk over to him. If I have to serve again... "What's up.""Um, you've been great here but you're fired."
My mouth drops open at the news. I've been at this job since I was 18 I've been early, never taken an off day, did every single task he asked and I'm fired?!"But you can-"
"It's just not working out."
"Bullshit I do so fucking much for you and this is what I get!?""You can come back as a customer if you want. Not all is lost though."
"Well what a-"
He cuts me off by handing me a card. "What is this?" I ask in frustration."A business card, one of the customers from yesterday wanted to give it you. See, not all is lost!"
Dipshit. I take the card from him, feeling unsure yet desperate. I go into the dressing room and find Aurora."He just fired me and gave me this random business card."
She takes the card and examines it."Mmh, it's from the middle man! I feel it. What are you doing, CALL it!"
"Why would he hire me after I spilt his drink and he clearly hated my dance."
"Who cares! He wants you."
"And if it's not his business card?"
I question."Shut up and call the number. You need a job, I'd let you stay with me but I've already got enough roommates in one house."
She was right. I'd been living with my older brother since college because it's affordable and it gives me time to get to my real dream which is to own my own restaurant. This job has been flexible with me, I've been taking chef classes which are expensive but useful. I don't know where I'll go from here, I've stayed at this job for far too long but the pay is decent than other jobs I've seen. And I was hoping one day to meet a rich guy who'd change my whole life, well that was just a silly thought.
"If you wanna become a restaurant owner, you're gonna need money. As your best friend, you'll thank me later."
She says as she calls the number on my phone. "Hello? Hi yes you gave my manager this business card." She impersonates my voice perfectly. "A personal assistant job at a tech company! 10,000 monthly?!" I choke on air, that's 120,000 yearly. I steal the phone from her."120,000 yearly?"
I ask."Yes, can you start tomorrow?"
I recognise the voice but not the face. Aurora puts her thumbs up and mouths yes to me."Yes I'll take the job. Do I need experience?"
"No, you have to meet Mr Diaz tomorrow to finalise everything, the address of the company is on the card. Bye, have a good day."
He ends the call and I hug Aurora excitedly."10,000 MONTHLY!?"
"Shopping sprees weekly then?"
I let go off her from the hug and sit down again smiling."Sure! Well...I'll see if it's legit first. This seems too good to be true."
"Good things are coming Alana, I feel it. You deserve this more than anyone I've ever met."
"Stop being sentimental and go shake your ass for random men."
I joke hitting her lightly.Nicholas' POV
"She said yes."
Enzo, my underboss says putting down the phone. "What exactly is your plan here?""8 years ago...Irina was killed in the car crash."
I remind him as I hold tightly onto the picture of her."She was in the car that hit her.""There were two people in the car."
"Yes, Alana and her brother, Elias Solis. Finish with her files, I want it on my desk by tomorrow."
"Aren't you glad I made you go out yesterday?"
"All I remember is your comments about her ass. Don't ever talk about her body again."
"Do you care about her or something? And where'd you go after she split the drink by the way?"
"I don't care about her. I needed to know if it was her, so I booked a private room."
"Damn you got some ass ag- nevermind. I'll be on my way."

Alana’s POV10 Months Later"You've never looked better princess."Nicholas says as I stare down at him. His eyes were full of want, he was insatiable. I hoped I never looked better, I was currently on top of him, hips swaying as I rode him whilst my hands caressed his perfectly curved abs. Having to wait that 6 weeks after giving birth was torture. I'd missed this so much."I'm gonna miss you cumming in me.""I still can.""You wish. Ask me in a few months."I reply as I ride harder. "Shit, you give an amazing show. You take it all so perfectly.""Well it'll be a show you'll be seeing for the rest of your life. So get comfortable."I say. "Your ring suits you. I would've never expected this when I first met you.""I never expected to be a billionaire's wife when I first met you. It's not the worst thing ever."I breathe out."Thank you for involving me in your psychotic plan.""Anytime. And you wanna know the best part of this?"He circles a thumb over my clit causing me to tip my
7 Months LaterIt's officially been 7 months since everything had happened. 2 months after Nicholas told me the truth, he asked me to be his girlfriend. He'd planned a private, candle lit dinner on top of one of the most - if not the most exclusive restaurant in the city and he had it decorated with roses. It was perfect. It's been officially 1 year and 4 months since I met just about the most amazing man I could think of. He loves me like no man ever has and he's never made me feel undeserving of love nor has he made me believe he didn't love me. Over the past few months, I'd grown close with Stasia. I see her as my own daughter sometimes, she was the most adorable girl ever and I couldn't be happier. Elias got a new job as a financial analyst and this job hasn't ended with him coming home with bruises.Today, I'd come over to Nicholas' house to surprise him with a dinner which I was just now finished with. The house was a bit empty because Stasia was at a sleepover. After leaving th
Alana’s POV"He's getting married?!"I say as Nicholas tells me the events of the past two days. I'd come over to his house after my shift because he wanted to talk about something but I wasn't expecting all of this. We were in his kitchen and I'd offered to cook him steak and fries whilst he explained."Only for a year. Well I'm guessing he'll divorce her as soon as he can."Nicholas explains."And he can't get out of it?""Not exactly. It's in the contract I signed before I agreed to the marriage with Irina. Besides, now your brother's off the hook.""Thank you for that by the way. You don't know how worried I've been ever since I found out.""So, now that I've finished the two things, do you forgive me?"I bite the inside of my cheek. I didn't think that I'd ever get to this point with him when he first told me. But when a man fights this hard for you, there's no way you can just ignore it. The past was still there but I know that he's not an evil person. Not to me."Yes."I breath
Nicholas’ POV"I cannot believe you've stepped down without getting your revenge."Viktor says smiling like we're friends. It's been 15 minutes of this meeting and so far, he's avoided all of the questions I've had for him. Enzo and Carlos had come with me, insisting that most likely one of us might end up dead by the end of this meeting. "Can you just explain why you're here?"I reply and he nods."I just thought that some small talk with my son in law would be nice. But I guess you're not feeling it."He pulls out a briefcase from the floor and puts it on the table."Don't worry there's no gun. If I wanted to kill you, I wouldn't have waited this long."He opens the briefcase and I see a stack of papers. He takes them out, scrolls through the pages until he lands on one and then he pushes it towards me."So, I'm guessing your father failed to mention this but, that was the contract we all signed before you and Irina married.""What does this have to do with him making a mistake?"I
Nicholas’ POV"You're what?!"Enzo exclaims. I guess it was rash to give up what I've known for 10 years for a woman but I didn't care. It was time. It'd caused me way too many issues for me to still be here doing this. I was back from Spain. Me and Alana stayed for an extra day and we spent it in the hotel just spending time together and the night talking until she fell asleep. She'd told me last night about how it went with her brother and how worried she was for him because he didn't have a way out. It felt like old times and I can feel her starting to open up again. "I'm stepping down."I explain."Are you sure?"Carlos asks taking a seat in my office chair next to Enzo."Yes. I don't want any part of the mafia. It's not done me much good recently, or ever. And Alana asked me to. I know how important this is for her so yes, I'm sure."I answer."But this, are you really sure? Who will even take over your position?"Enzo questions."You."His eyes widen. I'd always known that if
Alana’s POV"Hi."Clara says as she occupies the seat next to me in the hotel dining room. She looks annoyed and like she'd rather be anywhere else."I didn't exactly say sit but sure make yourself comfortable."She sucks in a breath as she looks down."He..."She shakes her head."He didn't do it ok? I lied about everything. He's not the type of person to ever do that to anyone but, I know how bad your situation is with him so that's why I lied."She shifts in her seat."I asked him to come visit me because I missed him but the whole time all he could talk about was you. I planned a dinner, hoping to get something, anything out of him but no. I knew you'd come crawling back at some point and even if you didn't I had a backup."He talked about me the whole day?"What plan are you exactly talking about?""I gave him sleeping pills. I wanted to stage it like we've just had sex. I hoped you'd walk in and hate him so much that you'd never give him a second glance. If you didn't show up, I
