Chapter 24: I hate you so much Martin

Haunter and Valerie were about to exit the main gate when a male shadow suddenly appeared behind them. Valerie and Haunter froze, her heart was beating really fast as she stared at the familiar shadow that continued moving forward in a slow but steady manner. She pulled slowly turned back to see Martin standing behind them and he didn't look pleased.

Valerie gripped on Haunter's hand. She knew she promised herself not to look scared in front of this man but she couldn't help it because she was in the wrong. Her family life was also at stake as she remembered the deal she made with him in the first place.

What was wrong with her? Why did she ever think of escaping with Haunter in the first place, even with Martin's unborn child in her stomach.

Martin's eyes slowly traveled to the two fingers intertwined with each other and his blood boiled even more.

"What do the both of you think you're doing?" He asked his first question.

Valerie stared at Haunter and he suddenly scoffed. "We wer
