Chapter Forty One

“Are you ready?”

“Shouldn’t I be the one asking that?”

“Then why aren’t you?”

“Are you ready?”

“No. Not really.”

“Great.” Augustus sighs, running his fingers through his hairs while Agatha shakes her head, chuckling. “Never in my life had I thought I would be this nervous to meet someone. Seriously.”

The duo are sitting inside Agatha’s car, dusk had already fallen and Augustus sister was already waiting for them in the said location. And yet the couple cannot get rid of their nervousness, Agatha most of all.

“Hey,” Augustus says, grabbing her hand and making her turn towards him. With determination in his eyes, Augustus says firmly. “I’m with you, so don’t worry. You are great, so show your greatness to my sister and she will like you eventually.”

Agatha gulps, staring from Augustus eyes to his lips before chuckling, trying to get rid of the serious atmosphere. “Bold of you to assume I want your sister to like me. I know I’m great, and no one can resist me.”

This makes Augustus smile
