Chapter 1

I slowly opened my eyes as I heard hushed voices around me. My body felt sore and heavy despite the soft and comforting mattress I was laying in. My head was spinning and my throat seemed to be sore and raspy when I tried voicing out my thoughts.

The first thing that caught my eyes as soon as I woke up was the mirror ceiling right through the bed. I stared at my own reflection. My body seemed to have lost a lot of weight the following days. My cheeks were almost hollowed and my cheekbones were awfully sowing. My green eyes seemed to have lost its color, and my usual short, blonde hair has grown so long and thick.

I can’t move nor speak. Questions filled my head, but I couldn’t find the energy to speak out loud. At that moment, I just wished to sleep again and never wake up. It was as if I have lost all my motivation to continue living, which was pretty odd. Because why would I think of such a thing? I am a very positive person, and to think that I didn’t want to live anymore felt so g
