The ones with the lowest income earners are not counted, but socialites are ranked from A to C, and the Greyharts family falls among the class B socialites, while the Noels family are ranked among class C.

Vicky knows him so well because her father forced her to memorize the face of people she cannot afford to offend, and so, if she is coming from class B socialites, then the Romano family are out of her league — the type you can only meet once in a lifetime — but her friend got married to the sole young master of the Romanos. Michael smirked, then turned to the servants, immediately becoming the cold and untouchable master again. He declared:“Everyone, I would like to introduce my wife.”The staff bowed respectfully. He continued:“From today on, she will live here with us. I expect you to treat her with the same respect you owe me.”His voice carried an implicit warning; the servants shivered in fear. She turned away and went back up the stairs; he followed her. He turned to her:“Have you had dinner?”Aurora, staring at the wall with a blank gaze, came back to reality and shook her head.“Then let me freshen up, and we’ll go down for dinner.”Aurora nodded, and Michael entered the bathroom. A few minutes later, there was a knock at the door. Aurora answered:“Come in.”A maid entered, walked to the middle of the room, and bowed. She had short brown hair.“Madam, I was told to inform you that din

Halter continued, “There is also another one, but according to rumors, she specializes in mass murder.”Michael was suddenly intrigued. “What do you mean? Like provoking bombs?” he asked.Halter answered, “She kills them off by herself, and she is also good at infiltrating.”Michael cocked an eyebrow, his face remained expressionless. “Who is that ‘she’ person?”Halter answered, “The Ibara Princess.”Michael made a ‘hmmm’ sound and said, “A woman, then try to contact her. I think it’s time to take care of the spies in this building. That will make two birds, one stone.”Halter bowed but responded again, “I did, but I didn’t yet assign her targets.”Michael said nothing when a man entered, whistling in a carefree manner, his hands in his pockets. His eyes landed on Michael, who was standing near the window, and he smirked.“Yo, Michael, I am done with the Adam’s project.”Michael turned towards him, his eyes cold as ice, his voice low. “Dan, with the numerous errors I saw on the projec

She had just placed her phone on the table when there was a knock on the door. She said, “Enter,” and a man in his forties stepped inside. He wore a black tailcoat and a hat, with a few strands of white hair on his head. He entered and bowed in front of her.“Good morning, Madam. I’m the butler of the Whitmore mansion. My name is William Smith, but please, you can call me Will, as the master does.”Aurora looked up with a slight smile, appreciating the cordial yet unpretentious tone.“Thank you, Will. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”“The pleasure is mine, Madam. If there is anything you need or wish to know about the house, please don’t hesitate to ask. We all look forward to making your stay as comfortable as possible. The master asked me to show you the house.”“A tour of the house would be very much appreciated. Thank you.”“Of course, Madam,” Will replied with a small nod. “Please, follow me.”They walked down a long, dimly lit corridor. It was filled with portraits, each gaze heavi

Some minutes later, Michael was done leaving the place for Aurora to take her own bath. She immediately bathed and, covering herself with a towel, walked into the room just across and took out a black dress and wore it. Then she carefully took care of her hair. When she was done, she got out of the dressing room. He stared at her for what felt like minutes, then stretched out his hand and said, “Come, let's go and take breakfast.” She got up from her seat, showing no intention of taking it. True, he was her husband, but for the moment they were just strangers bound by a marriage contract.Michael placed his hand back in his pocket. He didn’t feel at all offended. He opened the door and walked out. Aurora followed suit, her eyes not looking left or right but fixated on Michael’s back. They walked until they reached the stairs and descended them. He guided her into the dining room, where he helped her to sit on his right, and he took the head. When he was comfortable, he clapped his han

He felt her shiver and removed his coat, draping it on her, and then he picked her up and placed her on his laps, her head resting on his chest. He looked at her for a while before looking at the window. The car drove for hours more before reaching the manor. They entered a huge gate, then drove for a few minutes more before stopping in front of the entrance to the house. Many men were all lined up, waiting for the master of the house to grace them with his presence.Michael got out of the car, Aurora in his hands. All the men bowed down while greeting, “Welcome back, Master.”Michael ignored them and strode in with his wife, leaving all the men perplexed, question marks expressed on their faces. ‘Who is that woman?’Michael strode into the house. It was luxurious; the decoration was simple. All the living room furniture was either purple or white, while the walls were all white. He immediately climbed the steps; his bedroom was at the end of the corridor. He entered the room and plac
