Hazel’s POV

Alesha had called and I’d shut the door to answer her call. We finished talking and I walked back to the door to find Damian gone already. I looked around for a while but he was nowhere to be found.

I instinctively made my way to his bedroom and after knocking on it for a while and got no answer, I decided I was going to peep in.

I didn’t know what I was doing but I got inside and searched his room but he wasn’t there. I knew I was crossing the line.

There was another place he could be. I got out of his bedroom to go check the study and from the intense sound of typing I heard, I smiled. He’s in there.

I opened the door to his study and I smiled at my knowledge. I knew that was the only place he could be since I couldn’t find him and I found him sitted in there with his laptop in front of him. He was working, it’d be a bad idea to disturb him right now, I thought and I’d wanted to leave the study when he turned around and saw me.
