Chapter 31 - Kane
“Kane. Yeah, Kane. You need to wake up.”
I can faintly hear the words, but my mind doesn’t register what they are saying. However, I can’t ignore the shaking of my shoulder. Ugh. I’m having such a nice dream.
I slowly flutter my eyes open and huff, “Stop it! I’m waking up!”
As I finally open my eyes and the room comes into focus, the first thing that I see is Ben’s smiling face in front of me.
However, when I move, pain shoots through my body from laying awkwardly on the hospital bed. Wait. Hospital bed.
My smile quickly fades as I remember why I’m sleeping in the hospital. My eyes instantly dart to the person still lying motionless on the bed. Wyatt.
My heart instantly aches seeing him still not moving. I don’t know if I’ll be able to handle not talking to him for weeks. It hasn’t

It has been a couple days since Mason has found out who his mate is, but instead of joy, he has been filled with anger.He has called Finn and has asked him how to get more access within the security system at King Enterprises.
