Chapter 29

I let out a scream due to how roughly I was pushed down the stairs. I felt the pain surge right through my entire body and winced when I tried moving any part of my body. I probably broke something, that must be the reason the pain is so intense.

I let out a small cry and turned my head a bit then tried to fight off the headache by opening my eyes a bit to see where I was thrown to and saw that I was at the end of the stairs that leads to the basement I came out from not too long ago and the door was slightly opened.

I rolled and went down the remaining two stairs with a little yelp and in the process opening the door further. I could feel the tears gathering in my eyes and rolled till I was facing the floor.
