Dear gentle readers, who's the new addition? let me know what you think by leaving your comments.
Alpha Draco rushed forward to his mate. No one could speak, we were all still recovering from the shock.I could not believe I just rudely snatched my hand away like that.I could have hurt her. I shrunk into myself, crawling backwards until I stood on shaky feet.I wanted to speak, apologize but my lips wouldn't move.Luna Nymeria’s stunned eyes looked upwards to my new standing position and then she breathed coming out of her surprise.“It's okay, it's okay. It's alright.” She repeated softly like she was speaking to herself and me.A large weight pressed against my back and I flinched slightly and like a spell my nose loosened and I could finally breathe again. The searing heat came closer to my back and I trembled.“Are you alright?” Alpha Draco asked his wife. His eyes searching for whatever disturbed her world and I knew he wouldn't hesitate before lighting me ablaze.I heard Alpha’s were extremely more protective of their mate's than lower ranked wolves. She nodded, placing he
We all turned to find a blonde haired man standing behind us, a black ethereal beauty beside him.“Draco.” Melanie squealed, in one quick stride she jumped onto the man and like he was expecting her to, he caught her mid way.His arms wrapped around her. A goofy smile appearing open his face. When Melanie was satisfied, her set her on her feet and next, she launched another hug on the lady beside him.“Nymeria how are you?” Melanie said excitedly. They all exchanged greetings while I just stood there gaping at the exceptionally looking couple. It was very much obvious from where I stood. They were glued to her, his hand always reached back to hold her and from the aura emanating from them both I could already tell they held way too much power and status to be just normal wolves.Definitely an Alpha and Luna.I should shrink back from the shift in the air due to the power and strength they both exuded. I had no wolf, I shouldn't have the guts to stand beside them let alone stare this h
I got into the bathroom, dried up my hair and got into the black dress. It was beyond beautiful but it made me a little uncomfortable. It clinged to my body like a second skin which made me wince at the sight. It showed off curves I didn't even notice I possessed. I never did have the time to notice things like this. I checked my back a dozen times in the mirror to make sure it was properly covered. I let my hair down in wavy curls just in case. I head out of the bathroom and the two ladies gape at me in shock, especially Melanie. I squirmed uncomfortably under their eyes. “What.” I asked them not knowing what to do with my hands ands feets anymore. “You look unbelievably amazing, that's what.” Melanie let's out a laugh like she just won a lottery. “You look gorgeous Valerie.” Aria said more softly with a warm smile. I gave them both a sheepish smile, feeling extremely shy all of a sudden. If I didn't know how to act in front of them, I wonder how I was going to handl
“Run, my child! Run!” My head snapped to the side. “Child run!” A chilly voice screamed but I couldn't see her. “Don't let them get to you. I beg you.” The voice cried. I panted heavily in fear. “Promise me you'll live. Promise me you'll stay alive and protect yourself?” The voice held so much sorrow in it. I peeled my lips to answer but I couldn't speak. “I-I-I—” An earth chattering scream broke into air and sounds of glass bursting nearly deafened me. Angry red flame erupted into the dark night from nowhere and I found myself screaming too. That voice, the screaming voice somehow belonged to—me. My eyes snapped open. I gasped out a breathe. My throat raw like I was truly screaming in real life too. My skin felt clammy. It hummed all over and I realized I was drenched in my own sweat. My hair clinging to my face and clothes. Then I felt it, hot searing heat crawling all over my back like prickles of needles. I shut my mouth tight to hold back a scream, only letting a shaky b
‘Duck’ a loud voice rang in my head, shocking even me but in that split second, my body moved, ducking out of the way. I let out a loud gasp, my wide eyes staring at the spot my body just moved from, before snapping to a surprised Mira. In another second, Mira was lounging at me again. my blood rushed in my ears. That voice, that same strange voice screamed at me–again. ‘Roll.’ My body moved on it's own accord before I could process what in the madness was going on. I rolled onto the floor, barely catching my breathe. Mira's eyes darkened with grave annoyance while my eyes remained wide in shock. What the hell was that? I couldn't hear the voice in my head anymore. Did I just imagine it? My ragged breathes puffed out like I just carried the weight of the world on my shoulders. “You're not as clueless as I thought.” Mira clicked, that dark smile still present. I shook my head, panting heavily as I stood shakily. Distracted, her fist came flying straight at me. This time
Without thinking, I raced straight to Aria. My mind panicking. I collapsed onto the floor beside her, she let out a loud groan, her bloodied mouth looked up at me. A bloody smile lingering on her lips like anything about this was funny. My chest was heaving and I felt it begin to burn. The smile on her face vanished with one look on my mine. “Hey, what is it?” Her soft voice didn't calm me. I pulled my bottom lip between my teeth, my eyes burning harshly. “I thought–I thought–” I had no idea what was wrong with. I just hated violence. My eyes quickly moved to the tear on her knee, she must have gotten that from the hard landing. I was thinking to run to get a med kit, find herbs to treat her injury but right in front of my eyes, in seconds, slowly her injury just healed until it completely disappeared. I almost collapsed in relief. “Hey, I'm okay you know.” Aria turned until she sat crossed legged on the floor in front of me. A warm smile still on her face like she knew my insi
