Chapter 24: Rye is Sherlock?

After Khali cleaned the dinner table, Rye still had not gone home. He sits in the garden over the hammock, and she follows him. Khali found him resting with his eyes closed. Khali remembered. He practiced all day, was still up late last night, and now he's by her side. Khali was smiling. Maybe he and Brady were good friends because they worried about the same things.

"You're not going home?" she asked, sitting in a hammock.

"No!" she said, being defensive. "I think of you, and I know that you are tired and need to rest," Khali said timidly.
