"Do we have to leave, Ma? The police are currently searching for Alfred Saavedra." Khali said

They're putting some clothes together for their flight to Singapore. They were there until Khali's security was under threat. Her parents are sure that Alfred will do anything to hurt Khali, especially while Vincent is hiding from the police.

"This is about your safety, Khali," said Khali's mum.

"Mum, I'm not going to Singapore," Khali said.

She doesn't want that because she's leaving Rye. She is still studying, and her school papers will be ruined when she moves to another school. She's thinking about Vincent as well. She has not yet persuaded Vincent to surrender. She does not want to harm Vincent, even if he is the one who killed her brother.

"Listen to us, Khali. We can't have you ruined. This man will use you to get his son out of hiding." said Khali's mother.
