“Where’s your ma’am?”

That was Frank’s first question to his men.

“They’re already asleep in their room, sir.”

“Wake them up and bring them to the underground of the house. Hurry up. Something bad might happen today,” Frank ordered, prompting his men to quickly wake up the mother and child.

“Ma’am Lorain! You need to come with us now—right away! We have to hide, per Boss Frank’s orders.”

“Why?” Lorain asked.

“We’ll talk about it later. Let’s go now!”

Frank’s aide immediately carried Shane, and they headed to Frank’s house’s underground area. There was no need to worry—the place was fully equipped with supplies and food.

Once the mother and child were inside, his men immediately shut the underground door.

“Mama, what’s going on? Why are they in such a hurry? Did something bad happen to Uncle Frank?”
