Chapter 14

I rolled back and forth trying to feel the softness of the bed, it's been so long since I have felt this relaxed. I covered my with the duvet on my bed to share my eyes from the incoming sunlight that was creeping through the window.

I was too lazy to get off from bed, infact all week I have been really lazy. Damon had been the one doing all the work, from bringing my early morning breakfast to my lunch and then guiding me down to eat dinner. 

He was overdoing it and I know. He was doing all this and more since the incident that happened on Friday which was partly my fault, I didn't get harmed but he got scolded and I guess he still feels guilty up to this point. I don't care how he was feeling as long as he was nice to me.

I finally got out of the bed but lazily strolled to the balcony which was high up above the swimming pool area and you could see trees from up there, the mansion was indeed in a remote area with only the birds to accompany you.
