Smack! 

Xander held his face with his hands.

 "All throughout last year I wondered why suddenly Damon who was to marry Alicia suddenly chose to marry that girl" Beatriz said, her eyes getting watered with her tears which she wiped away Immediately. "So Damon was covering for you all this time and what was the last thing about the child not being his, who else could it have been......" Beatriz paused to have a deep thinking. 

Her eye brows furrowed at her sudden conclusion. "It is yours?" She said as if she was a little doubtful.

"I had no idea Beth was planning to have a wedding, yes we loved each other but back then I didn't know, I admit that I did get the invitation but I never read it and that was the day I left" Xander admitted stepping back to rub his cheeks further ignoring her last question.

"And the child? Tell me it's Damon's" Beatriz gripped Xander's hands in exasperation, her finger nails piercing deep into his skin.
