“Alpha, here you go. A nice dinner set up for two with a blanket.” Ms. Evers said handing him the basket. “And two more baskets for Marcy and Gordon and the other one for the patrolling warriors that will be accompanying you.” “You’re the best Ms. Evers.” Blasé said kissing her cheek, taking the baskets. “Let’s go.” He held his hand out to Storm, she put her hand in his and he slowly led her out the door to the pond. Gordon had joined them halfway to the pond, he walked next to Blasé as Storm and Marcy walked side by side talking and laughing. “Seems as though our mates are becoming best friend.” Blasé chuckled to Gordon. “Yes, seems so.” Gordon smiled. “It will be good for them, especially my Marcy. She doesn’t really get out too much since mom and dad died.” He sighed. “Thank you for assigning her to Luna, she has been much happier since she’s been with her.” “No need to thank me, she’s been helping Storm with fitting in and learning about how things work around here
“Blasé, Alpha Tobias is here with his mate, son, and daughter.” My dad linked. “They also brought about a dozen of their warriors. I’m having Gordon and Marcy show them to the guest housing, your mom thinks it would be a good idea to have Tobias and his family stay here in the pack house.” “That’s fine dad. We will be down in few minutes.” He told his dad. “Blasé, who’s coming to dinner?” Storm asked. “Hopefully some people you will remember from your past.” She frowned at me. “As for as I know I have no family. Well, I have family but M…Nancy told me that after my real dad died his family threw us out and didn’t want anything to do with us.” “So, she never told you that you’re a werewolf.” She scrunched her nose. “No, I had no idea they…we existed. And that’s something I would’ve remember.” She squinted one eye and chuckled. “The only reason I found out was because Fred shifted in front of me.” She stuck her tongue out and gagged, that is an image she wants to forget.
Chapter 10: His Claim “Alpha, Luna, there is an Alpha Harvey Green and his son, future Alpha Maxwell at the gate.” Gordon looked over at Storm. “They are demanding to see you; they claim that Luna belongs to Alpha Maxwell.” “What the fuck is he talking about? Storm belongs here with us.” Silas snapped. “Silas calm down.” Alex told him. “Gordon, show them to the conference room, make sure to have some extra guards at the ready just in case.” Alex instructed. “I want eyes on them at all times.” Blasé ordered. “Why would they claim that I belong to him?” Storm asked. “I don’t even know who they are. I didn’t even know who I was until I met Blasé.” She rubbed her face. “Don’t you worry sugarbear, no one…” Blasé said lifting her chin, so she was looking at him ”…and I mean NO ONE is going to take you from me.” He assured her. “Blasé, let’s meet with this Alpha Green and his son, find out what is going on. Storm, sweetheart, would you mind asking Tobias and Doltyn to join us
Blasé and Storm woke up early to all three of their children draped over their bodies. Blasé chuckled as he watched his whole world sleep. “I could use a little help here.” Storm smiled as she brushed her fingers through River’s hair. “Do you really want to disturb all this?” He asked motioning to all of them. “We need to go and see Silas and Karla off the sooner they get going the better. It’s a long trip for them.” She said as she gently laid River on the bed next to Ryder. She and Blasé got cleaned up while the kids slept quietly in their parent’s bed. There was a light rap on their door. Blasé opened the door and in walked Marco. River immediately popped open her eyes and smiled wide. She always knew when he was with her. “Hey babygirl.” He cooed at her. “Did you sleep well?” He asked as she sat up. “Yesh.” She smiled rubbing the sleep from her eyes. “Good. Now, you and your brothers come with me.” He said waking the boys. He looked at Blasé and Storm. “You should
“Sugarbear,” Blasé called her through their mind link, “could you please come to the pup’s room? I need a little help.” He sighed deeply. “Sure, on my way? Is everything okay?” She asked. “Yeah, just come to their room and you will see.” He snorted. Storm walked into the room with Summer and Megan to see Blasé tied a chair. The three of them stood, staring, and trying not to laugh. “Uh…what going on?” Storm asked with a chuckle. Blasé sighed. “Mama, we pway cops and wobbers.” Ryder informed. “Yeah, and dada’s the wobber.” Rebel smiled mischievously. Storm eyes Blasé. “You’re supposed to be getting them ready not playing cops and wobbers.” She told him with a wide smile. “I was trying to, and they ambushed me and tied me up.” He explained. “They ambushed you, huh?” Summer giggled at her big brother. “Looks like Doltyn’s training is working.” Megan snickered. “Yeah, and I’m gonna have a few words with him.” Blasé told her. “You will not.” Storm stated. “He did what he
Storm and Blasé took River upstairs and put her to bed. They decided to poke their heads into the boys room only to see them running and jumping around. Megan was stuck under a blanket with Arlo and Ryder sitting on her refusing to let her get up despite her protests. Megan had gone into their room to help get them ready for bed, but they ambushed her with a little help from Doltyn, her loving mate. Blasé and Storm stood at the door watching their boys and nephews jump around and running circles around Doltyn and Zy. They looked over at Megan who was finally able to crawl out from under the blanket. “Sorry, I got ambushed by the boys with help from my most wonderful mate.” She said with sarcasm dripping toward her mate. Blasé sighed as two dark balls of fur flung themselves at them. “Aahh…” Storm shrieked. The stomping of feet were heard running up the stairs. Storm was laying on the floor on her back with five little balls of fur crawling all over her as her mate, cousin, Zy
“Sugarbear.” Blasé called out. Silas and Karla are on video chat. “They have an update.” He told her. “Already? They’ve only been there for a couple of days.” Storm asked walking into Blasé’s office. “It’s about time you answered.” Silas chuckled. “Oh, zip it fuzzball.” Storm pointed and wagged her finger at him. “Hey, sis! Howzit going?” He asked blowing her a kiss as Blasé glared at his stupid little brother. Silas just grinned at his big brother. “Fine, all is good. I thought I would get my little angels back, but Doltyn is just as bad as you…” she started ”…but I now understand what you were doing.” She admitted. “Whoa.” He said with surprise. “Yeah, I said it once don’t think I’m saying it again.” She huffed. “Say what again?” Silas wiggled his eyebrows. “Shut up.” Storm giggled. “So, tell me what’s going on?” She asked. “Well, apparently, Dillon contacted a few other pack members and told them what happened and what the plan for the pack is. When we
“Mama!” Rebel yelled running into the room and jumping into her arms. “Hey, careful little man.” Blasé told him. “You might knock mama down.” He said ruffling his son’s hair. “Sowry mama.” Rebel whispered hugging his mama tight. “Mama!” Ryder squealed. “Did you two have sugar in the last few minutes away from me?” She asked wiping chocolate from his mouth. “We hab fudge pop.” Ryder said dancing around. River frowned. “Did you think I would forget about my little princess.” Grace cooed handing River a fudge pop. “Thanchew Nana.” River giggled. “You’re very welcome my little love.” River took the fudge pop, sat with Marco, and shared it with him. At least she wouldn’t be on such big sugar high since she’s sharing with Marco. “So, let’s go in and have some coffee or tea.” Grace looked at Storm with a mischievous smile. “You know, I’m not a big fan of coffee either.” Selene chuckled. “Storm isn’t a big fan of coffee anymore. Dad lived on coffee.” Cra laughed. “He loved it stro
