"My dear, never be afraid. The prophecy medallion will reveal itself when it's ready. Just keep it with you all the time alright?"
"Really?" Anna asked.
"Yes, trust me. I know" If only she listened to her friend, if only she warned Lady Magda enough not to marry Lord Androe. Lady Maria's regret was the reason for her being so close to the Icy Cavern. Somehow, deep in her heart, she knew that it would trap her friend.
"Ah! Okay then, by the way, do you have something for his burn?" She asked her while holding Harry's hand.
"Oh, blimey! Yes, dear. Of course. But let me remind you, the scar will never fade."
"Why?"
"See this?" She shows them her palm
Two days later, an eerie silence settled over the mountain of Lady Maria's cottage. The extensive howling sound of the unnatural wind ceased in unison. Birds of prey and land predators stalking their next meal froze in place as though aware of the great unknown power, appearing from above the mountains. The sounds, the movement, all the signs of life that filled the dawn light just halted. The wildlife knew what was happening. The mountain on the right side of the cottage stood above the valley of the northernmost tip of the Icy Cavern. The can of troll who happened to camp in her backyard stopped on their activity and watched the mountain clouds above them. It was the tallest peak in the area. Crowned with snow most of the quarter of the year and was known for its heavy dew and its evergreen trees that peppered the region. Lady Maria gestured
Lally's CampThe fairy army of Lally yearned for more bloodshed than the peace itself. The filthy of their wool uniforms were thicker, heavier than the human troop. Some of the feral wolves wore leather protection that flickered with dark magic, some still bloody, and some filtered with saliva and unknown wet substance from their massive snout. The heavier fabrics didn’t slow them down a bit. They charged at the younger Fairy Prenah and the traitor knight Henry, dozens of fairy and feral werewolves fighters against the two of them, moving like lightning. Flames of darkness and hatred erupted in their eyes. That same dark and a golden gleam of fire Prenah had seen in so many feral’s eyes.Just a few hours later, they left their abode's wandered to her sister's Villa
Lady Maria's cottage The renowned and famous Alpha of the Rebel Pack was Jerome Wallace, his first legendary Fairyland resistance had already occurred when his brother Andrie fought the army of the Dark Lord who became the ally of Lady Magda years ago, and presently Jerome Wallace and his pack of fifty werewolf burned the soldier's armory of Lord Colton and started a fight in the tavern that ended up burning almost the nearby houses. Since then, they have been hunted by the King's soldiers. Alpha Jerome, however, remained in action with a large company in the southern part of fairyland near the deserted Werewolf kingdom. They wore disguises and moved into distinct groups. They wandered in various ways and hid in plain sight while feigning to be what they were not. Unless they attained help and a lot more of it, their accomplishments would be sufficient.
It wasn't a dark spirit that pulled Anna from behind, a hand gripped tight across her mouth. Had she not been competent for just such an eventuality, it has stunned her senseless. As it was, her heart gave a tremendous leap and she yanked in her captor's grip. David had grabbed her from the left, pinning her moving arm tight against her side, his right hand over her mouth. "Psst! We are being surrounded." "What the hell is wrong with you David, you scared me for a second there. Jesus!... I know," replied Anna. "...I suspected it about halfway up the lake, and whoever has trailed you and Alpha Jerome's men into the mountain, they are coming." David grabs his sword. "We should wake everyone and be careful Anna. I mean it. Take care of yourself. Alright?
Maybe it was them showing respect, or maybe they were too eager to look at what was coming. Lady Maria believed that David's soul left his body like a gust of air, and the most important thing was to bring his body to the underworld as fast as possible, so his soul could get there safely. His body was anointed in oil and wrapped in a shroud, a coin was placed under his tongue to be given to the ferryman of the underworld river, the boundary between their world and the underworld. Together with the other fallen, they buried them under the heat of the afternoon sun.Jerome's men were wearing a fresh cream wool sweater. The silence settled as they entered the little shed in the center of the garden one by one, paying their respect.Harry held Anna's shaky hand the whole time. She wiped her tears onto her sleeve and lounged on his shoulder. All the me
The next day, a storm brewed over the path towards the Fairyland —and they were trotting right to it. Jerome and his man, Leon, Anna, Harry with Lady Maria, travel towards the stormy terrain blindingly. While the Trozan the troll and his clan travel the other way, they were tasked to gather an ally and galloped the other way to the North and would send a message to the rest. However, Anaa kept clenching her fists, as though she couldn’t wait to shove through the fairies, and avenge David. The hurricane was spreading across the trail towards the Fairyland. The point that it hadn’t yet hit the center gave Anna hope that their group was still holding out. So many creatures they passed were whispering, 'war is coming', somehow those creatures were evacuating for fear that they couldn't withstand the bloodshed. The Fairyland armies, ferals were coming from the west, gatheri
Anna wakes suddenly, every thought in sharp definition. Her eyes drew in every glimmer of tiny light from the luminous lamp and she realized she would have slept too long. She searched for her surroundings. She lay there, keeping her eyes closed, matching her breaths to the beeping of the machines that hemmed in the dreamers' device, the mere reminders of her pulse, her existence. Her limbs were dull.Curiosity pried open her drowsy eyes to see a dismal view of a black gold-painted room."Harry?. Oh my god, why are we back? No no!" Though Anna's eyes were clear she couldn't determine why; her heart was pounding, her mind was empty. It's as if a hypodermic of adrenaline has been drained into her carotid. Her dream ended as it disturbed her back into reality. Her eyes opened, her eyelashes batting agai
The next few hours passed as a blip during her never-ending story, then after recounting their many adventures, the final trauma that broke Anna was the passing of David. Harry held her hands while he was retailing everything to Nathaniel. "What? David was dead?" Nathaniel shouted. "Yes," "I'm sorry, Anna," Nathaniel replied. The heaviness was in his limbs as much as his mind. Things he used to find funny now only caused a deepening of the pain. Nathaniel doesn't like the man, but he helped save Harry and helped Anna so he counts him as a friend too. "Let's not talk about it, please?" She begged. One day, Anna will grieve for him, but first, she would have to accept he was gone - and though she dug his grave herself, there was a
